The prosecution in a criminal case cannot use illegally obtained evidence. But the defense side in a criminal case is not under the same obligation. Exculpatory evidence in a criminal case in particular can't really ever be disregarded.

Why not take it one step further for a moment: because of the conspicuously unnecessary redactions there is precisely nothing within the four corners of the tweeted screenshot inconsistent with a scenario in which Nick created a burner account along the lines of ThisOughtaOwnThaHaydurz@Gmail.com, logged into it, created the depicted browsing history and screenshotted it, added the redactions and any other shoops that make it look like the screenshot could have been taken while logged into Aaron's account when he can prove it was not, logged out from (if not also deleted) the burner account, waited until the time when he thought (perhaps mistakenly) that Google's applicable retention policy would remove any trace of him having ever used that burner account, and posted the screenshot claiming it was made while logged into Aaron's account. In that hypothetical scenario, whatever search warrants his actions will have instigated would not turn up forensic evidence of him having ever actually accessed Aaron's account at all.

If it was just the porn history they might not care. The toe said he had communicated with the prosecutors about Nick's charges. If any of that was through this e-mail they might actually care a lot. Enough to look into it. If he did view any private communications from the prosecutors on his case that would at least be enough to get his bond revoked. Ralph has hinted that he knew about this before it broke but who knows with Ralph. It's something he'd lie about to make himself seem important.

The interesting thing is that even if Nick were to claim that he didn't really access Aaron's account and that he faked the stuff he sent people because reasons, it wouldn't really make things any better for Nick.

Normally I would say Internet bullshit wouldn't concern the police (even if it is snooping into email accounts) but also that is usually when the cops aren't already charging you with serious crimes. And considering Ralph has had a warrant issued for his arrest, I honestly think the cops might seriously add charges to this whole thing. Compare it to Ralph and the revenge porn. It took forever for Ralph to be charged (and then plead no contest) to that, even though we know he released it. But when Ralph was charged with that he wasn't under police investigation for other crimes, so the police didn't care very much about the revenge porn thing. Also, even if Ralph had copies of Faith's entire Internet history and email accounts (plausible since he admitted to snooping and putting keyloggers on people's devices) EVEN RALPH wasn't stupid enough to share information from that with the Internet. And that is not even considering the other very serious crimes Rekieta could have committed by looking at privileged attorney-client information, or potentially leaking his own revenge porn of Aaron to people.

TLDR even though normally lolsuits and Internet bullshit never results in jail I am actually leaning towards Rekieta copping serious charges for computer snooping.

Is it possible that Sean and Aaron had a private discussion concerning Ralph re-broadcasting Aaron's hearing, and that Nick intercepted that conversation and then forwarding it to Ralph to cause trouble?

Because I notice, in the warrant affidavit, the investigating officer does not state how he was tipped off the unauthorized re-broadcast happened. Ralph has plenty of enemies, completely divorced from this situation, that could have ratted him out.

Note that I am not suggesting Sean or Aaron did anything wrong here. Quite the opposite.

as the thread has moved awfully fast, but so far what comes close to your description other than A) the Aaron-NotKinochet DMs, which say he believes emails had been sent but says nothing about confirmed recipients, and B) Melton's streams, which have been repeatedly couched in CYA disclaimers that everything he is talking about is coming from Nick, a known lying liar who lies? I saw those DMs earlier and they could be read as a guy scratching his head and doing his best to reasonably infer the most plausible explanation for what Nick and Melton have been posting and saying in public, without anything having yet been confirmed forensically, hence why even Aaron prefaced with "I think" on two separate occasions. Don't get me wrong, I still think his inference is extremely likely to be proven correct in the end, but given Nicks' and Meltons' dismal credibility I'd just as soon wait for receipts, which shouldn't take very long anyway.
