Usually, when I get them running , I'll send a little email/note to the seller (most of mine are eBay) telling them I got it working again and they don't have to worry about me being a vindictive little shit and returing it/giving bad feedback.

And they're usually very happy and say something along the lines of "Joe would be happy to know that it's now in a good home, it was his and I just couldn't bring myself to throw it out"
