I think the majority of writers on these games had something completley different written until a firm like SBI waltzes in and tells them to change everything because "We need non-binaries in our medieval fantasy game!" Toilken is ROLLING in his grave. I just want to see an inkling of creativity in modern games that these firms have ripped the souls out of.

marvel adapted it but also understood you can't have that shit be every character the whole movie. or to put it like this: ghostbuster 2016 sucks (among other things) because fucking everyone tries to be venkman. "haha that dude was funny, why not make EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING FUNNY?".

modern writers grew up on buffy/angel and firefly, then marvel capeshit, which in addition to their mediocre writing ability means that's all they know. add their social college/hollywood bubble and you got literal shitters with no life experience trying to be "real"

They don't operate on the same plane of reality as ordinary people, but I suppose that should have been obvious when they tried to convince people a man with a mangled cock is a True & Honest woman.

At best, I think we might see the cope that the majority were brainwashed by Trump's rhetoric and tricked into voting for him, but from what I've seen so far they're quite comfortable writing off half the country as card-carrying Fascists.

What I asked is if the instances of the game devs using the excuse that those complaining about woke game are "just a vocal minority" will go down significantly now that Trump won with the most votes and thus proved that those complaining are the majority.

I am not accusing the woke of being fully self-aware or anything. They will come up with other excuses. That was a given. I am asking about the vocal minority talking point exclusively. Now that we are a proven vocal majority, how will the duped investors react to the woke and their agenda?

To re-answer your question, though: no, I don't think it will make a difference. They've known all along that the 'vocal minority' excuse was bullshit, and after historic disasters like Concord nobody is buying the Modern Audience cope any more.

Yeah, Capcom is one step behind from Square Enix when it comes to woke infection though I hope that this Defanged Demake costs them enough money should it flop that they reconsider this strategy. Seriously, so much effort put in making something objectively worse in every way is such a sad state of affairs. Hopefully things change but I know it will take quite a bit of time.

I think the whole point is that this demake didn't cost that much to make, or at least it shouldn't. Poor quality, overuse of AI, playing it safe by "appealing to the modern audience", extremely janky and even glitchier than original, outsourced to chinks ect.
Honestly, Dead Rising 4 is looking more and more attractive the more I talk about this piece of shit. For as much as everything in that game sucked, at least it's an original product. DRDR is skinwalker with brittle bones, you look into it too much the whole thing collapses onto itself and you realize the experience is only skin deep. At least with DR4 you can pretend this is some sort of in-universe sitcom and what's actually happening is that Frank is watching this piece of shit in shock, with the game's ending be him calling his lawyer for a defamation lawsuit as he's getting a blowjob in a jacuzzi.
It's one thing for evil not to be able to create anything good, but now it can't even imitate properly either.

I doubt SBI or the like were involved, it's likely just Vancouver brainrot along with seething at the Trump victory that seeped into the game. This feels different than the redneck snipers in Dead Rising 2, a game that is a good example of both actual diversity and the game mocking everybody equally btw.

Yeah, that is sad but the graphics looked decent for PS4 which means that it could not be that cheap even taking into account that the splatter effects are severely diminished. I just hope that every redesign that was censored costed them something more. You know, to go with the lack of sales that might occur.

The graphics don't mean much when every single character looks and sounds worse than a game from 2006. I don't know how much of that is to blame for the RE Engine and how much blame lies with the outsourced B team.
All I know is that nobody is talking about the game, and all the talk about making the game more accessible to the modern audience/censoring it just killed off any interest the actual fans might have had. It got to the point where even the resident capcom troon influencer didn't like it.
Speaking of which, I saw another troon shitting on Veilguard in that thread. I think we're about to reach a boiling point where the games are too shitty and woke even for trannies, which begs the question: What do those studios do now? Their silver diversity bullet isn't what it was just a few years ago.
