Greta Gustava Martela / Kjel Anderson & Nina Chaubal / Niraj Chaubal - Stole $350k+ from Trans Lifeline, kill count of 2+ from negligence, Founders of Sisterwood/La Zorra.

To be perfectly frank, this still sounds fishy as shit to me. There is no way that ICE would just Pajeet just saunter out. Alot could change between today and Tuesday.

Also, @AnOminous, if Shrek cannot come up with the bail money is Pajeet screwed? People have made it seem like it is all or nothing.

It's all or nothing but the minimum bond is only $1500. If ICE sets a high amount, you can ask an immigration judge to reduce the amount (they also have the power to increase it, so that can be a gamble).

It's also not really just a matter of sauntering out. She will have future court hearings and if she doesn't attend those she will blow any hope of claiming asylum (or any other type of residency). Unless she and Greta were prepared to disappear completely - and how would they live without TLL income - it would not be difficult for ICE to track her down.

I'm sure they'll consider absconding with TLL funds and disappearing, but doing so would only make their legal problems much, much worse.

I phrased my question wrong. What exactly happens if the bail money cannot be put up? Does he go right back into Elroy? Can he hope for another bail hearing?

Also, what is the average cost of getting status after these two have fucked up this much? How much extra financial burden have they added?

She doesn't get released until it's paid. If it's not paid, she remains in detention until her case is resolved one way or the other.

There's no realistic way to predict the legal costs. They don't even have a strategy yet. If they go the claiming asylum route, it could drag on for a long time. Maybe they can get pro bono help, maybe they can't.

We don't know what we don't know. There may be even more negative stuff counting against Nina than we're aware of.

I doubt Kjel is mentally ill like some of the rats may be, but there's no doubting he's got some psychopathic traits. He's sane enough to come up with a plan and run with it(versus so many of them), and his only drawback has been poor organization, bookkeeping, and angry outbursts.

I wouldn't put it past him right now though to at some point drop Nina and run with the money, saying they parted on good terms.

Right now, however, what's to say they aren't learning how to play the immigration laws from the thread?

This is something that we won't know until the actual hearing in front of the judge. If the US government lawyer brings up objections on the bond quoted before the actual hearing the bond can either be increased or revoked depending on the information brought forth during the proceedings. Even if they do get a bond set, if they don't have the full amount of the bond at the time, El Nina will be waiting in custody until the full amount is paid, since you can't got to a local bonds/bailsmen company. Bondsmen cannot post immigration bonds.

EDIT: spelling

saying they parted on good terms.
I don't think even he is dumb enough to think that would work. It's not like Nina is going to die never to be heard from again. He's just going to India. If he tries to cut ties like that Nina will simply speak up and he can't have that paper trail. They'll try to use this as extra victim bux instead. Milk donations for immigration fees, and hurt feelings. Maybe even try to get him a visa through TLL somehow. Which they probably should have attempted to do to begin with.
Deportation or not. He'll try to build another scam out of it. Be it for Trans immigrant rights, or some off shoot indian charity for trans shitting streets.
While this is going on he'll find a new boy toy on the side and gradually phase Nina out.

If she's applying for asylum - which was the plan but it seems like they don't have a coherent strategy yet - I think that's a stand alone thing. I'm not sure that her relationship status or even her overstaying and working while on an expired visa are huge obstacles to that.

Even on a valid visa, she would have been supposed to keep immigration informed of her current address, so that's not really an additional hardship.

If Pajeet is applying for asylum that's more or less an admission his status isn't legal and he has no other argument. An asylum claim especially from an otherwise safe country like India is a real Hail Mary pass. The government is going to assume he's here for exactly the reason he originally came to the country, i.e. to make money and because he'd just rather live here.

Being a lazy fuckup too entitled and arrogant to obey the law isn't the basis of an asylum claim.

And yes, if he loses that, they take the poo to the loo and it's bye bye Nina.

When Greta realizes any money spent on this case is essentially flushing it down the toilet, he'll probably try to figure out how he can divert some or all of it his own way, or maybe even outright sabotaging the case to get Nino kicked out even sooner.

He doesn't really have a great history of spousal loyalty.

Y'know I wonder what the TLL Van looks like. Like, do we have any pics of them bragging about it? Cos so far I've just imagined the two of them in this:

They can't. The whole reason you need an attorney for shit like this is because it's a complex, specialised area of law where you will absolutely lose if you try to self-represent. Nothing has been posted here which cannot be found on Google, but they would be just as stupid to use anything from here as to use suggestions made on FB.

Only an attorney who practises in the field knows what is and isn't relevant in Nina's specific case and what will and will not help her. Greta putting in her own ideas based on what's been said in this thread would be hilarious because it would waste expensive attorney time explaining to her why it's not applicable.

You're barely better off with an immigration lawyer because they just don't give a shit at all. They get their money up front and guess what? If they fuck up the case and lose, you're gone. History. They'll never see you again.

Throw in that so many of their cases are utter dogs like this where the client has just no legal justification for their bullshit at all. Nina's total failure to even pretend to obey the law just has no excuse for it.

The bond is to make you show up. I don't think $1,500 is enough to guarantee the appearance of a flight risk, so I'd hope the government argues for a higher bond or that there just shouldn't be a bond at all (unless it's a bond to just get the fuck out of the country). He can take his ogre husbando with him.

We know where it's parked...
Oh, I know this! It's down by the river, right?

It won't surprise me if bond is set at the higher point of the scale, which would be closer to $15 to $20k. All of those calls to ICE this weekend, all of those outcries online via articles and virtue signaling might cause the government to place El Ninas bond much higher than originally expected.

> Isn't Trans Lifeline a scam operation?

I tried to corroborate your claim, but was unable to do so. I don’t have a particular position, having never heard of it before. I was just curious to know what I could find out.

I found one website that appeared to have a mission to publish negative information about the organization — kiwifarms.net. Kiwifarms.net is the first hit if you google “kiwi farms” and the descriptive text below the link reads:

> Community dedicated to discussing eccentric people who voluntarily make fools of themselves. Explore abnormal
> psychology and the minds of Internet crazies.

I’ll let you draw your own conclusion about whether kiwifarms.net is a good source of information.

"I tried to corroborate your claim but was unable to do so...I did find one site, kiwifarms.com"

Oh man, you cannot tell me for a second that this commenter -just- learned about KiwiFarms and then wrote a whole essay against these claims. Gold. Username was too generic for me to find out anything, but if anyone else wants to take a stab...

If Pubinder gets out on bail, they will makes as much fuss as troonly possibly, and all their sycophants will join them in an unearthly shrieking. But since I want juicy drama uber alles, I'm not displeased by the notion of this saga gaining a second wind. I doubt it will happen, but just imagine the salt and laffs if the Feds cut Pujeet loose, but the trial goes sour and they try to ride the Underground Tranny Railway.

Can you imagine? Dare we dream?

The faithful will certainly do that but it will probably shake the confidence of others. This is the second time in a month Evelyn Rios has questioned the way they've gone about things. She can do so publicly because she's fairly immune from attack but I'll guarantee there are others who are privately feeling like they've been misled. It's mistake to assume that everyone who supports a fair deal for troons will also support blatant disregard for immigration laws.
