A detail that's missing from Nick's story (read: because it's naht trew) is how the officer got so much cocaine on his glove that incidentally touching a child on the head transferred enough to interfere with a test dealing with metabolites. I sincerely doubt he just reached right into the coke pile and dusted his entire hand with it, and I also doubt that he coated her entire head in coke, so it's possible the hair that was tested wasn't even taken from the area he touched.
