I love how many of his rants begin, “I don’t have any contact with this person. Here’s the thing I sent them just before I cut all contact with them forever.”
And most parents can, because by that age their kids have their own lives and are self-reliant. It only seems unreasonable if you’re a useless retard like Dave who thinks getting a job is beneath him.

My guess is that there's nothing medically wrong with him.
I think he's just a bad person who isn't smart outside of music, so he's suggestible to movements that make him feel accepted.
The true nature of narcissism is defined by a deep and unshakable feeling of self-worthlessness. Deep down, they believe that they're not worthy of good treatment from anyone. So what they do to protect themselves from experiencing the pain of that worthless feeling is they put up this huge facade that basically say in so many words, "I'm the best! I'm the best!"
Their only other option is to wallow in their misery, and that's just too painful because the self-worthlessness is too deeply ingrained.

As far as I can tell from the volumous crap he was written over the years he has two physical conditions that are medically confirmed. Atrial fibrillation that was completely refractive to ablative surgery (which is quite common) and lumbar spinal pain, both of which are completely successfully medically managed. The later could likely be dramatically improved by not being an obese sack of shit and actually exercising. The former is no big deal, he takes a medication for rate control (no different in dose and frequency than someone would take for high blood pressure), and takes an uncomplicated anticoagulant (absolutely no different than anyone else with afib [which is an extremely common condition] or cardiovascular/cerebrovascular disease from being a middle-aged obese piece of shit with a terrible lipid profile from a completely shit diet and non-compliance with blood pressure treatment). The only consequences of his medical conditions, appropriately treated and managed, would be occasional minor back pain if he overexerts himself (which I can guarantee he never does) and the potential for minor contusions (simple surface bruising) from minor impacts that would likely not bruise for someone not on anticoagulants. None of it is serious, and none of it would have much of any impact on day-to-day life or most other situations outside of extremely rare occurrences, such as literally life threatening circumstances, that most people will never encounter in their entire lives.

Yeah, at some point slapping a medical label on people is not helpful if it doesn’t help you deal with their behaviour. Dave is never going to change. At 40 he is a worthless parasite railing at his former hosts for delousing themselves. But I dispute the claims that he is good at music. I’ve heard him. Also that he was a suggestible. That makes him sound a bit weak. As his truly vile co-option of Fiona Apple’s rape story shows, he is deliberate in his chase for clout. When our cultural moment valorised atheism, he was a spokesman for it. The last few years, trans victim has worked, so on with the doo rag and dress. Currently he’s dialling back the trans presentation but dialling up the victimhood which still has clout.

Ever since I found out he stole Fiona Apple's childhood rape story and made it about his sister I've been convinced he's doing it on purpose.
It's probably something he could have got away with on the Internet 20 years ago because most people would feel bad to scrutinize such a horrible story, but in 2024 everyone is a cynical asshole --100x more when it comes to troons-- and after the #MeToo movement had people getting strung up for the crime of touching someone's knee once 10 years ago I think a lot of people are just kind of over it, especially when the stories are as insane as Dave's.
Dave has put himself in a pretty amusing situation now where he has to embellish his stories because if he told the truth (i.e. my dad got a restraining order against me because I'm 39 and won't move out his house) everyone would instantly take Dr Joe's side.
