Furry Fandom and Drama General

They reached a critical mass right around the time of Xwitter's tweak to the block function making things a one-way mirror. I think they're all there on BlueSky for the duration by this point, now moreso with the AI training rule going into effect tomorrow.
Shame. Guess I gotta make yet another account just to keep tabs on a few personal lolcows.

For some more election-borne retardation, here's a couple journals from popular artist ecmajor that have garnered a hefty 368 comments and 117 comments respectively so far. Plenty of unhinged and psychotic takes to feast on.

The meltdown will continue until morale improves.

Looks like the great furry Exodus ™️ to Bluesky has begun (again, for the third time).

How long before they come back crawling lol.
To be totally honest I don't think they will this time. A lot of them have switched over fully or have made second accounts. Theres no reason for most to stay on twitter.

Yeah, feels to me like the election was the point where bsky reached critical mass and you'll see it start to become more of a neotumblr. Not only have I seen a serious uptick in the amount of furries making bsky accounts this past week, even more importantly I've seen a significant amount lock, delete, or otherwise more convincingly say they're not touching twitter again for the foreseeable future.

Before the election, it was just them being annoyed by features on a site run by a guy they don't like. Now, it's a fight of LIFE AND DEATH against the reincarnation of Goebbels. You wouldn't want to be caught supporting the mouthpiece of the new American fascist reich, would you?

This is not a bad thing I think
I still think the mass exodus of tumblr was a major catalyst to a lot of cultural issues seen today, at the very least, a website that can contain the most feral progshitters has been sorely needed since.

Won't lie, it would be funny if this ultimately results in Twitter now becoming truly boomer normie, especially if the rumours that Elon wants to merge with Truth Social is true.

These decentralised nodes (like mastodon, bluesky etc) are a cool concept, so I hope normies and right-wingers will catch on and join those sites instead of sticking strictly to xitter.

It would be REALLY FUNNY if Bluesky turned into a shitty site like Vidlii.

Imagine being a furfag who wants to migrate to Bluesky, and then it's full of chuds spamming gore and nazi shit.

Given how hardcore the rules on Bluesky are, I don't think it's likely to happen. I think it's more likely Bluesky will turn out like Tumblr with the community forming something of a subculture.

A lot of accounts joining to troll end up getting stuck on blocklists immediately that a tonne of people subscribe to because you only need one terminally online individual to make a list that gets shared everywhere and add accounts as they appear. There seems to be lists that add accounts automatically if they have something like MAGA or Trump in the bio or display name, which most have.

It's amusing how ecm uses the NIS symbol as a seperator on his post there. Surprising he hasn't been dragged for muh genocide.

Another increasing thing is calls for the site to be moved and/or backed up because clearly the first thing on Trump's agenda is 'shut down FA'.

If the Reps tried running in my country, not only would they struggle to get 5% of the votes, I'm pretty sure the party would be disbanded by our domestic intelligence agency, or at the very least, be on their watchlist.
I cannot comprehend how a first-world country could possibly allow this to happen.
Oh, I wonder which country he's from. Sounds like a real blast to live there :smug:

It will be funny watching videos of Lefty furry artists, who have no business sense by blocking potential customers just because they support Trump, and have to line up at the food bank due to dwindling art sales. They will probably visit the food bank in fursuit.
That image is a blast from the past.

Three things:
-I'm not sure I understand what makes the list "secret." When you create a moderation list, it's publicly pinned to your Bluesky profile with no way to hide it. Additionally, the account you screenshotted does not appear to have created any lists in the first place.
-Whoever creates a list has no way of knowing who is actually using it. Bluesky does not provide any feature to publicly disclose if someone is using a moderation list or not.
-That profile is absolutely horrifying. I made the mistake of looking it up and was greeted with ABDL pictures I sincerely wish I could unsee.

Hep A and B boosters? Sorry nigga, but I don't live in some shitty third world country.

I want to take note of the domain "slut.dog". This domain has WHOIS Guard on it, but not every domain will so if you see a domain on bluesky? Do a WHOIS and you might just get lucky if the owner is careless.
