Derail, but that gif is the strongest nostalgia hit I've had in months. I think literally everyone who grew up in a small wooded town has at least one scar from doing exactly that, usually in that exact barbie car stolen from someone's little sister, on a driveway that looks dead-on like that one. We weren't sucidal enough to do it while the road was wet though.

PL, but I have 6 family members I'm in touch with. Four of them got the jabs. Two of them now have cancer, one of whom is one of my parents. Shit sucks and if this administration somehow winds up bringing all this to light and utterly destroying the pharmaceutical companies It'll take me about halfway to being okay with the situation.

Love how you put that at the end. I dunno about you guys, but now that the election is over and Trump won, I'm just so fucking done with everyone's hysterical bullshit on the Left.

Not even in an angry way, though. It's more like, "If you're still this retarded at this point, there's no helping you". I totally understand people not liking Trump's political philosophy or whatever, but I know a few people who are legit acting like there's literally going to be Right Wing Death Squads rounding up and executing trannies and minorities six months from now. Like, lifelong crunchy granola hipster liberal types hitting me up for advice on what kind of gun to buy for personal protection.

Ever since 2016, every time I think we've hit rock bottom in terms of the populace's gullibility and blind trust in media institutions, it somehow keeps getting worse. Instead of being upset by all the deception or being sad for those fooled, I feel different now. There's simply no way that being so detached from reality and easily lead isn't a massive detriment to one's ability to succeed. Leftists thrive when they control groups and systems, because they are nepotistic and put ideological loyalty above all else. Most cannot survive in a meritocracy, an environment where they do not control the culture.

So now, I say "Fuck 'em". If the shoe was on the other foot, these people would show no empathy and would revel in their victory, and subsequent continued destruction of our culture and values. They bet the farm on things like expensive useless degrees instead of real skills, permanent gender surgeries instead of being likeable for who they actually are, and government handouts instead of actual work and prosperity. All of it for naught.

Get ready to be the change you want to see in the world, fellow Kiwis. And learn to enjoy the terrified screaming of the rats who never learned to swim, who not long ago were so smug in the supposed knowledge that their ship was unsinkable.

If true, can't we just nuke India and use "chemical warfare" as a reason why? it's not like India is going to take care of the problem itself.

I have an older truck and I get about 15-20% more mileage out of ethanol free gas than I do normal gas. I feel like a couple of years ago the corn subsidies must have intensified or some new regulation impacted the cost of pure gas because for a long time it was more economical to buy ethanol free than normal. At some point the price of ethanol free shot up about a dollar a gallon and I can't figure out the math on it. If ethanol gas is 10% ethanol then even if the ethanol was 100% free to the gas company then ethanol free should be 10% more expensive at most, or 15% since it's a lower demand item that still has a decent bit of demand since small engines tend to run a lot better with it just to account for the gas stations not moving through it as quickly just to be generous, and that's about where the price was basically since I started driving up until that price increase, now it's about 40% more expensive

The only thing I can think of that kinda makes sense is that the base level ethanol gas (85/87 octane) is just absolute garbage and the octane rating is massively increased by the 10% ethanol. The octane rating correlates to how much the gas can be compressed in the cylinder before it auto-ignites, so if your octane rating is too low for the compression level of your engine it will spontaneously ignite rather than go off when the spark plug tells it to which causes the engine to knock. The ethanol is a great retardant and as a result greatly reduces the chance of a misfire (diesel is about 20 octane and diesel engines are designed to fire as a result of compression rather than spark plugs, which is why diesel is so devastating to a normal engine, it just misfires every stroke and knocks itself apart)

In the early days when engineers were trying to optimize engines an issue they kept running into was the premature detonations on high performance (high compression) engines due to the gas of the era not being particularly consistent and just generally being low octane junk in general. One of the additives floated to get more consistently high octane equivalence was ethanol but it was considered prohibitively expensive for everyday use at the time. I imagine that would still be case if not for the corn subsidies

After the auction The Onion didn't have the money to buy it and they were declared the winner of the auction despite not even being the highest bidder. Just some massive fuckery afoot.

I'm sure more details will come out but it's just another case of Jones being railroaded

If it's brought to light, it will be accidental, because they think they can tie it as a millstone around Trump's neck. If Big Pharma gets their way we will never, EVER find out that the jab is death. mRNA gene therapy is too valuable a technology, the lawsuits would be WAY to big (even with immunity, which would go away very quickly if it turns out the jab really has fatal flaws -- it does), etc etc. Best case scenario is "new versions" of the jab will be rolled out that basically do fuck all and it'll be slowly retired over the next few years, and we'll all agree to ignore it until the current crop of test subjects are all dead (so, 2100 or so).

So I got a few dates wrong, that's on me, and I take responsibility for that. Also "Nazi apologist", didn't realize I was on Reddit for a minute. This is the kind of phrase that gets thrown around when an NPC who watches cable news hears the words "objective" and "WW2" in the same sentence. Hitler ultimately failed, and I'm not a fan of hawkey politicians, anyway.

Six volumes, actually. I've read all of those plus a one volume abridgment. My point in citing Churchill's body of written work is that I shake my head when people on right wing Internet places accuse Churchill of being Globalism's architect when he really got played like a fiddle. The man had distinctly rightist views, and I find it laughable people (particularly liberal Boomers and Millennials) lionize him, and those same people would despise him if he were in politics today given views he had on specific topics. I recall in John Toland's Hitler biography that Hitler was entertaining the idea of Britain controlling the seas while Germany ruled the land; British Empire was declining anyway, it would have dissolved regardless even if the war never happened.
