His Colbert Report persona was a gentle parody of Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly. Cruelty was left to Keith Olbermann.Colbert was never cruel, he was doing a bit and some pundits went on the show without doing an ounce of research.
That's not working out too well for Keith...His Colbert Report persona was a gentle parody of Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly. Cruelty was left to Keith Olbermann.
I mean I love Alex Jones because he’s funny and kino as fuck but he probably earned a punishment for the sandy hook stuff it isn’t a hill I’m willing to die on just cause I like how absurd Jones can be. However then going so far to 1.4 billion is something that will slingshot me back to defending him.I don't think too many people would defend Alex if it was a reasonable judgement, 100 million or something that would cripple him. But a billion and a half, fuck off, you are just going to the point where you get someone that doesn't really like Jones to defend the guy.
It's the same with cops. The advice I've seen is if you feel like you're being detained illegally or anything like that don't resist. Peacefully comply. Make it clear verbally you feel your constitutional rights are being violated. Then FOIA the bodycam footage immediately after, file a complain, and a lawsuit if you have a case. What you do not do is act like an asshole or refuse to comply with orders.
Some states have stop and identify statutes while others do not. Know your state laws.I the case of them demanding ID when you feel they have no right to do so have them verify verbally you'll be arrested if you don't. Then if it is invalid they can be gotten for illegal search and seizure (constitutional right).
The fundamental basis of it was preposterous though. It's a case for defamation so Jones either said it or he didn't. Playing dumbass games with providing proof he said something that you are basing your whole case off of is ridiculous. That is not what happened. It is a plain lie originating with Jones himself that he was unable to retrieve his data.
lower level stuff like your county/parish/municipalities tooSome states have stop and identify statutes while others do not. Know your state laws.
Boy if you think Trump is really going to fix this country your in a world of hurt. And I think that failed assassination attempt was what really changed things. People, like null, have accused him of not really caring that much about fixing the country. And I think that is right to an extent before that shooting happened. People change a lot when they have a brush with death, and I think it changed trump a bit as a person. Before, it was just the boiling of the frog, people trying to defame you and tear you down through all the soft means. But when they took that shot, it was no longer a low boil and instead lighting a fire. He saw that an act of god had saved him, and that people who came out to support him were now dead. Dead, because of the news media and the swamp you were fighting against kept igniting hatred and vitriol.
Yes and in certain cases they can ID you if and only if they feel you have, are about to, or are committing a crime. However the trick is that this is based off the knowledge THEY are privy to and which you don't have full knowledge. Some states have stop and identify statutes while others do not. Know your state laws.
Yeah, uh, I never fucking said that?Boy if you think Trump is really going to fix this country your in a world of hurt.

They're all turning into Rachel Maddow. In a few years, people like Stephen Colbert, Mark Cuban, and John Oliver will turn into Gollum-like creatures who, instead of saying "Gollum" like a Tourrette's victim, they will say "Trump."
So many people don't exactly understand the shitlib late night hosts and why that's the case. Jon stewart and Obama are one of the biggest factors. Allow me to explain a bit.He was a different guy back then. He did his Colbert Report show he made fun of Fox news but it had a friendlier message to it, like he was just lampooning people he simply disagreed with. The Colbert of today doesn't have that element of friendliness to him, he's a bitter and angry alarmist. Turned into the very thing he was trying to parody all those years ago.
What’s their aim here? Kamala already lost. There’s nothing they could do and if let’s say a new winner was called, the country would erupt into chaos. The machine is working overtime. It's so blatant this time and the race has been called you would have thought they wouldn't do it. There is video of them saying they know they aren't legit ballots but are accounting anyways.

I like to think he just walks around the Capitol flashing a picture of those two ghouls just to scare people.
I agree with you on all of that. However, summary ruling is an extraordinary remedy. Using it when there were other ways to get the data, such as the plaintiffs subpoenaing Google, should not be acceptable. The request he ignored was a request for Google Analytics data which may have shown he was tailoring his conspiracy theory based on what was generating the most listeners and revenue. However, that's immaterial.
Let me extend my FAQ
Can I ignore a discovery order from a judge if I feel the basis of the lawsuit is preposterous?
No.
Can I ignore a discovery order from a judge if I feel that the request is a dumbass game?
No.
To keep things close. Trump winning in a landslide means the dems fucked up big time and he has public permission to do whatever he wants and Congress should follow him if they know whats good for them. A tight race means that the dems save face, Trump doesn't have that strong a mandate, and any snakes in Congress might feel more confident pushing back against him. What’s their aim here? Kamala already lost. There’s nothing they could do and if let’s say a new winner was called, the country would erupt into chaos.
Might just be that they already laundered the votes in and it would leave more evidence trying to launder them outWhat’s their aim here? Kamala already lost. There’s nothing they could do and if let’s say a new winner was called, the country would erupt into chaos.
