The request he ignored was a request for Google Analytics data which may have shown he was tailoring his conspiracy theory based on what was generating the most listeners and revenue. However, that's immaterial.

Let me extend my FAQ

Can I ignore a discovery order from a judge if I feel the basis of the lawsuit is preposterous?
No.

Can I ignore a discovery order from a judge if I feel that the request is a dumbass game?
No.
Discovery of a record you do not have access to and are forced to engage with a third party to access but are somehow also responsible for. All based on the theorycrafted premise that you used this data we know nothing about to craft the narrative on your show for money. Something that could never be proven by anyone other than Jones' staff.

Ignoring again that Jones is not poor. He had the best attorneys available to him. None of them thought the court would pursue the route it did or he would have acted differently.

What happened with Bush era comedy hosts (And people like Keith Olberman) is that post-9/11 nobody wanted to criticize Bush. That was fine, for a while. Trump should have gotten the same consideration with Covid and people should have backed off the usual partisan games. But, even Bush didn't get any unity for disasters by the time of Katrina.

So, for a while you could not criticize the Iraq War. You would get fired from MSNBC for opposing an invasion of Iraq. Criticizing the Iraq Invasion meant letting the terrorists have a free shot at nuking us. You would be "cancelled" for opposing the Iraq War.

So, along comes people like Jon Stewart and Keith Olberman to start pushing back against Bush. They gained a following because:

1. What they were saying was right. It was valid criticism. They were on the right side of history.
2. Nobody else was saying it. Dem leaders like Hillary were voting for the war.
3. It was a big risk to say it.

What made them popular was speaking actual truth to uniparty power. They, especially Olberman and to a much lesser extent people like Stewart or Maher, got confused and started thinking it was them that was particularly influential and powerful and intelligent and insightful and not that they were just vessels for the truth the same way God used human authors to write down the bible. When they stopped speaking truth and stopped speaking truth to power, the magic faded and the dimwit humans were all that remained.

Who is the famous TV host personality who is the closest thing to what Jon Stewart was? The one still speaking truth to uniparty power and poking at all the sacred cows and third rails? The one speaking out against Dick Cheney and his wars while the uniparty calls for his cancellation?

The one about to be sworn in as President. He's our modern Jon Stewart. We don't need the late night hosts to do it. It would be redundant. They should consider just laying off politics entirely and being entertainers for a while. Life in the crystal prison isn't so bad. You can still have fun.

I also consider Trump kind of dumb. And, he is DEFINITELY a liar and a teller of things that are not true. BUT, he does so much speaking of truth to uniparty power that it overshadows all the lies and mistruths. Like Olberman and Stewart, the imperfections are obvious to see, but if they are going to be the only people to stand up and tell the truths the uniparty wants to suppress then they are the ones people are going to cheer for. If someone on the left or the right wants to put forth a more perfect truth teller, then go for it. We're all waiting. Both candidates in this election did not have high approval. We picked the best from a not-so-great selection. Until then, Trump and Vance it is.

When Democrats insist on forcing MAJOR, MAJOR OBVIOUS lies like that doctors can surgically turn a man into a woman down the throats of the public, they hand the ability to tell the truth to Donald Trump. The truth is a powerful magic weapon. It gives massive buffs to the person who possesses it. If you think Trump is evil incarnate, ask yourself WHY YOU ARE ALLOWING EVIL INCARNATE TO WEILD THE TRUTH AS HIS WEAPON? All you have to do to disarm him of his best weapon is to STOP FUCKING TRYING TO FUCKING SUPPRESS THE FUCKING TRUTH YOU FUCKS!!

I am not familiar with US politicians, why is Matt Gaetz unpopular? Or is this account throwing with dirt?
Matt is a major shit stirrer in politics and is a lot like Trump in that he pissed off a lot of people in power (but has a loyal base). He is also like Trump in that tptb have been throwing anything and everything at him to get him out of office. He got me too or accused of sex trafficking a few years ago and this is what this is about.

He stepped on a lot of toes and did not respect the social contract of "suck the RINO dick, bigot"

He was investigated for sex trafficking.

Did the investigation lead to anything? No.
Were there any judgements taken? No.
Is he legally a sex offender, felon, or otherwise charged with any crime? No.

He has a cold case with no decisive proof, and some argue it was used to intimidate him.
Now, he's a politician, so he (in Minecraft) likely fucks kids (in Minecraft) but they're basically saying the equivalent of "you got swatted, therefore you're a terrorist"

No trump is an INCREDIBLY intelligent dude. He even drew an entire map from memory of the Middle East along with the conflicts while on a plane with RFK. You could say a lot of things about trump, but even kinda dumb is not one of them.
To add, just because Trump isn’t stereotypically smart, or good at everything, doesn’t mean he’s not actually smart. He’s not some grand strategic 2 shots to the back of the head like Hilary, but he’s very flexible, quick on his feet, and good with people, see every forced controversy this year. Trump turned his opponents’ ploys into PR stunts, not to mention his real estate and show business careers. Definitely more than I can say for Harris, who understands people so little, so poorly, that she shut down her own chant trying to get people to shout their own names.

Kimmel's big rise to fame was when he did The Man Show, which I remember really liking at the time. One of his bits in particular that I remember was he went around asking women if they wanted to end Woman's Suffrage and getting them to sign a petition to repeal the 19th amendment. One of the best jokes was that he asked some bitch lesbian and she seethed while calling him, "just another white male!" to which he responded, "I'm from Guam!". Really solid comeback to a comment that wouldn't become commonplace until much later down the road.
If you want to make Kimmel sweat, start playing some clips of the "Karl Malone Says" bits in front of a live studio audience.

Holy shit this video was a fucking disaster. "Immigrants don't take up all the housing, chud!" "The economy is doing great, people just don't feel the effects" "No one won the election except the bad guys!"
The guy also shills for The Sons of Rome and WEF, big shocker he's bummed the Dems lost.

No, actually, not being in personal possession of a record does not entitle you to ignore a judge, as Alex Jones discovered. You can file an objection immediately and argue that you have no reasonable way of obtaining the record, or you can take all reasonable steps to try and obtain the record. You have no other choices and you will get fucked in court if you ignore the judge. Please, for the love of God, do not ever do the things you think are smart if you ever get sued, because you will lose. Ignoring a judge is like fighting a cop. Even if you're morally right, you're going to lose.

Ignoring again that Jones is not poor. He had the best attorneys available to him. None of them thought the court would pursue the route it did or he would have acted differently.

Alex Jones was pursuing the popular legal strategy of "nothing you will do to me will hurt me bad enough for me to give a shit, so I'm going to be an asshole about this." Judging from his histrionics about the case on his show while the case was in project (which was cited in the ruling against him), he figured no matter what the judgement was, he could use it to drive more ratings and revenue that would make the judgement seem like small potatoes by contrast. The problem is, once in a blue moon, when you thumb your nose at a judge and say, "What are you gonna do, fine me a million dollars? That's chump change to me, hahaha faggot!" the judge says, "LOL, no, you fuck, I'm fining you a billion dollars, now eat shit."

This is the stupidest fucking time to do this. The entire world saw that Trump has already had phone conversations with world leaders, and even met up with Biden. At this point, even the dumbest imbecile overseas will wonder if something went wrong if they attempt to pull this shit.
I think it’s like that part of a Bond film where the supervillain’s scheme has been defeated, but then they make it their goal to take down Bond with them.

Except the villains here are lamer, gayer, fatter, and more Jewish, (Marc Ellias).

Is Trump's team just gonna sit on their hands and allow PA to be stolen? Cuz there's pretty obvious fuckery going on one's making a peep.

They better be careful - all of this shit, no matter how small, needs to be stamped out immediately. Or else they may try and go "WHOOPS, we found a shitload more votes in each state and actually, Kamala is your new president!" Doing it after the fact this time may be their new strategy, when people aren't paying as much attention.
Lara Trump said they're watching PA and suing them.

If the need a woman, they might as well run Elizabeth Warren, who at least has populist street cred and a known commodity.
I'm not so sure about this one with the issues about her ancestry. What would be really funny to see would be a bunch of Indians dressing up as war chiefs or something and interrupting one of her rallies with stereotypical Indian war cries. Just imagine her trying to calm everyone down over the din of the cries. Wouldn't that be hilarious?
