Regarding Chess, I did a little googling, since Tony seems to think it’s a big gotcha:
- there *may* be male advantages as there are some IQ differences between men and women. For example men are said to be better on average with spatial reasoning.
- girls are usually less likely to be encouraged to play chess or train in chess from a young age, so people who experienced a male childhood may have been given more advantages in chess.
- Women’s chess is to encourage more women and girls to participate in a historically male dominated sport.
- Chess is gender separated in some places because of cultural issues.

These are some of the possible reasons there are female spaces held for chess. There are also mixed gender tournaments that exist, and these allow anyone to participate regardless of sex/ gender.

Here Tony's just producing a false choice, that the only two stances are "give Tony everything he wants" and "complete eradication" otherwise he would notice that what these Democrats are doing is not saying "find compromise with the eradicators" they're saying "find the actual views of the populace." Tony chastises Mouton for ignoring his constituents by Mouton saying that Democrats should find out what their constituents actually think and support. Tony would have Mouton ignore 99.8% of his constituents for 0.2%, he can pull this "slight-of-hand" over 500 tweets by framing it as eradication or Tony, when Mouton accurately perceives the dominant majority would be something like "don't kill them, don't fire them for being trans, but not in girls sports and probably not in women's bathrooms, definitely not in girl's bathrooms in school." This is unacceptable to Tony and so becomes deliberate state-backed eradication of all trans people.

It's really more that they're sneaking a more specific definition of gender in, adhering to it tightly and literally and then using that to advance on sex. When most people actually don't accept that definition of gender in the first place. It's only the top level "bailey" of most gender studies definitions of gender that people accept, not the "motte" they construct from it. If you say gender is a performance and talk about like hair and clothing, people understand that and grasp it and agree with it but then this other definition of gender goes an extra step and says there's nothing to gender but performance. Nobody accepts this, not even the gender studies people which is why they run from it when challenged. But all their arguments, all their work is constructed on just that motte or it's worthless. If you're saying things that everybody already "knows" and "means" about gender then you aren't challenging anything, you aren't a radical, you're a handmaiden for the patriarchy upholding the status quo.

The gender/sex distinction is important to feminism and gender studies only if sex is real because "gender" can theoretically be smashed or changed. It's a cultural or social institution, not innate. But innate biology is fixed and therefore puts limitations to the scope of this, but real world limitations are anathema to radicals in the academy or elsewhere. This mandates a march on sex because it's the actual "offense" against what they think they want. Troons are stupid so they miss the nuance but also many of the "experts" deliberately hide the nuance so as to support their ideological project, one they can't actually define in any clear way, which makes it seem like sex is also a cultural and social institution. This is where they start to drift into the rest of the postmodern/"science studies"/etc. bullshit and yet again dance with definitions taken overly literally. Science has to be done with words and words are social constructs therefore science is just a social construct and society can construct science in anyway it chooses.

And here's where we get to "but that's not true." Since they're narcissists, it's natural for them to deny the existence of a reality outside of their control, even though they like the rest of us don't check to see if physics is still operating as known when we wake up.

It's ironic this is a post about sports given all the own-goals Tony''s been scoring recently. I am inclined to agree with him on this though: the core of the issue has always been that men dressed as women don't belong in any woman's space.

Sports just happens to be the best example because the distinction between the sexes is never more obvious than when you're staring at Lia Thomas towering over his female opponents on the winner's podium.
