Greta Gustava Martela / Kjel Anderson & Nina Chaubal / Niraj Chaubal - Stole $350k+ from Trans Lifeline, kill count of 2+ from negligence, Founders of Sisterwood/La Zorra.

Don't flood this guy with responses, there's only one thing that really needs to be said:

Trans LifeLine misses between 100% and 50% of its daily call volume despite Greta's claims they raise hundreds of thousands of dollars every month. This is inexcusable. The money is not being applied appropriately and that's probably because they write themselves fat checks to travel the country.

Their training is inadequate and by placing random people with no experience or medical knowledge of how to deal with suicidal people on the line, they put not only their callers at elevated risk, they put the operators as well. It's going to take one person to kill themselves on the line to send a random volunteer into shock and they will have no clue how to cope.

Quite simply, they are using the trans community for personal profit and they rely on useful idiots to propagate their scam's brand.

Richard finally chimes in.
Catching up on this thread (again) but I'm gonna chime in about this.

It's not just brown people being deported for being illegal immigrants. People from predominantly white countries (UK, Australia, the majority of Europe, etc.) get deported.

If you think only brown people get deported you're a racist shitlord. :julay:

>mfw I move from Mumbai on a work visa then fired and tricked by an ogre into becoming a woman and marrying him for a permanent residence visa only to be wound up implicated in his charity scam and deported because he didn't even file for my fucking green card

This reads like a modern day retelling of a classic Greek tragedy.

You remember where the references are for this estimation?
Null wrote something that read the stats from their then available call data(?). Even made a twitter bot for it. https://twitter.com/notranslifeline

Someone didn't like that and shut off access to it.

Edit: There was also numbers TLL published themselves that indicated a laughably low call/answer ratio (and those numbers were probably fudged as well lol). It's way back in the thread.

Greta is chimping over us because we're not scared and we're not beholden to her asspatters. She just can't deal with the fact that there are people out there who can say whatever they like about her. This is a textbook narcissist meltdown.

I think it's also self-distraction as well - Greta knows the immigration issue is an uphill battle that has gotten steeper since Nina was nailed, so all she can do is attack the detractors, which would take her mind off of her collapsing house of cards.

Thanks.

Basically what I'm getting at here is;

According to their website, they're a 501c3 exempt organization. From what I've seen, they're in technical violation of at least 1 of the rules for maintaining that status, and (with some further evidence) could be in violation of at least one more.

The one they are most likely already in violation of is this one:

3. Political activity
All section 501(c)(3) organizations are prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate running for public office. The prohibition applies to all campaigns (federal, state and local level). “Political campaign intervention includes any and all activities that favor or oppose one or more candidates for public office,” said Crom, who speaks to non-profit organizations on a regular basis about tax-compliance issues. “The prohibition extends beyond candidate endorsements.”

Contributions to political campaign funds or public statements of position (verbal or written) made by or on behalf of an organization in favor of, or in opposition to, any candidate for public office clearly violate the prohibition on political campaign intervention.

Section 501(c)(3) organizations may engage in some activities to promote voter registration, encourage voter participation, and provide voter education, but they can’t engage in activities that favor or oppose any candidate for public office. Whether an activity is political campaign intervention depends on all the facts and circumstances.

“The political campaign intervention prohibition is not intended to restrict free expression on political matters by leaders of organizations speaking for themselves as individuals,” said Crom. “Nor are leaders prohibited from speaking about important issues of public policy. However, for their organizations to remain tax exempt under section 501(c)(3), leaders cannot make partisan comments in official organization publications or at official functions of the organization.”

It seems to me, going through all of TLL's official social media, you could probably find some anti Trump statements in there.

The other one that they're most likely in violation of is this one;

1. Private benefit/inurement
Private benefit: “A 501(c)(3) organization’s activities should be directed exclusively toward some exempt purpose,” said Richard Crom, Staff Assistant for IRS Exempt Organizations Customer Education and Outreach office. “Its activities should not serve the private interests, or private benefit, of any individual or organization (other than the 501(c)(3) organization) more than insubstantially. The intent of a 501(c) (3) organization is to ensure it serves a public interest, not a private one.”

Inurement: The concept of inurement states that no part of an organization’s net earnings may inure to the benefit of a private shareholder or individual who, because of the person’s relationship to the organization, has an opportunity to control or influence its activities.

“A 501(c)(3) organization is prohibited from allowing its income or assets to benefit insiders (people with a personal or private interest in the activities of the organization),” said Crom. “Insiders are typically board members, officers, directors, and important employees.” He added that prohibited inurement includes the payment of dividends, the payment of unreasonable compensation to insiders, and the transfer of property to insiders for less than fair market value.

If a 501(c)(3) organization engages in inurement or substantial private benefit, the organization risks losing its exemption. Additionally, insiders guilty of inurement may be subject to excise tax.

In addition, I raise the point of the call volume because of this clause as well:
6. Operation in accord with stated exempt purpose(s)
“If you stop doing all or a significant amount of the exempt activities you told the IRS you were going to do in your original application for exemption—you could lose your exemption,” said Crom. “If your organization’s direction has changed, let us know. It could prevent future problems.” He added that organizations must adhere to the guidelines inherent in these six areas. “If they do this, they will maintain their tax-exempt status and continue enjoying the benefits associated with it,”

Just seems to me that with all this highlighted activity currently, gathering some hard facts in one place and seeing if they add up to any one of these violations might be worth looking into.

But who am I? Just some random dude. This might have already been looked at before and I'll take a bunch of late ratings.

If you're NOT feeling vulnerable when your spouse is in detention facing potential deportation... it's open to question how strongly you really care for your spouse.

I would be seriously fucking upset if my spouse was in basically-jail and possibly going to be thrown halfway around the globe. If I couldn't afford competent legal counsel, and hadn't even managed to see them at visiting time, I would be scared as hell and feeling very emotionally vulnerable.

But apparently Greta is feeling just fine. Very strong. Feeling great.

All while committing murder of said community through sheer incompetence and malicious greed

This says so much about Greta, but not what he thinks it does. We aren't "hitting him hard" because we think he's "vulnerable right now" -- we're posting up a storm because something exciting and hilarious is happening to him. It's current events!

Just like nobody posted that nude photo hoping to embarrass him. It got posted because it's a fucking freak show, and we are connoisseurs of the fucking freak show.

And, yes, we understand the kind of person you are just fine.

I like how their GoFundMe page doesn't say the money goes towards legal fees. It sells the campaign as a "if we reach 10k Nina gets to stay". Closer to the truth would be: "reaching 10k means we get a lawyer with a very small chance to make ourselves heard but we have done everything wrong so far and it's pretty much hopeless but not set in stone". Another scam from Greta confirmed. How many so far?

It's good that this thread is so well ranked on Google but I have to disagree with Null that we are good at compiling evidence. Sure, some of our agents (Null included) are the best at what they do and I give them all much props :achievement: Unfortunately, when all of that info is hidden away in a couple dozen posts among 300 pages of information, it's very unlikely anyone doing research for ICE, the government or serious journalism is going to read through all of this except if they're as autistic as we are (one can hope though). I wish there was less shitposting here but that's a tall order.

To the ally saying that Greta is a good person for trying, I'd say that she isn't because it's been confirmed by kiwis and independent LGBT people that the money they've raised so far isn't compatible with their spendings and results. To put it simply, they've taken so-many thousands in donations last year and their operating costs are next to zero, with only 3 full-time employees (one of them being illegal and detained) and other than that their entire workforce being non-paid volunteers. If that isn't a scam, with several examples of them misspending their funds throughout this thread, I don't know what is. If they were able to do a good job while misappropriating funds then it's none of my business but that's not even the case, is it?
