Which, honestly misses the point, i.e. yes, some of the anti-porn right wingers may dislike the guy doing porn. But the govt coming in and doing a 5 hour raid over the squirrel and unregistered animal shelter when they could spend their time on other, more important pursuits is a separate matter, and outside of the moralistic faggots for whom the "pornographer" is more important than the "govt overreact" aspect, most people would support the guy or, at the least, cry out against the wastefulness of govt resources on such a trivial matter.

I'm starting to wonder if Dev is literally incapable of realizing that people can be outraged over injustice even if the person suffering it is someone who does something they disagree with. Or if he's once again just being a bad faith bitch.

Kinda doubt it. It seems in Dev's own little world, the right being outraged over someone who is strongly leftist getting hurt by leftist government policy is hypocritical of the right. Doesn't matter that part of the issue is the fact that innocent animals were killed (whose deaths were planned by the state a week in advance), which was completely unnecessary when there are other means of testing for rabies (10-day quarantine, just for example). Maybe Dev doesn't realize that conservatives can be compassionate toward animals, too. It's cheaper to 10-day-quarantine a squirrel and a raccoon than it is to euthanize them for a rabies test, so even in the most pragmatic and economic conservative argument, euthanasia is utterly pointless.

I think Dev's view of the situation isn't just that he's bad faith. He's incapable of seeing anyone else as being good faith. He doesn't seem to even believe there's such a thing as good faith, when you really look at the implications of everything he says. I'm not sure if he realizes it, either.
