He would be an insult to Shorts channels that do animation content. Nutshell Animations, dsand00 and Zack D. Films are examples I can think of where the content is short but still engaging or educational, albeit zoomer-fied due to the truncated video length. In any case they serve as even more proof that just because someone makes "shorts" or "doodle cartoons" doesn't mean there is no need for quality control.
Plus, 12 Oz. Mouse can be a progenitor in stripped-down, lofi aesthetics that can be found in current animation slop from Doobus and others, except the people producing that show were actually professionals, meaning standards were established and held, and more importantly work was handed in on time. Why the fuck hasn't his artstyle improved? This guy does art for a living, doesn't he? He has no other concerns to distract him from making art, so why the fuck has it only degraded? If you look at other animation (I'm saying this charitably because Doobson has powerpoints for animations) channels like Sr Pelo or TerminalMontage, their styles are also simple and shitposty, but they're also really satisfying to look at, like there is technical skill there. Goobus kind of just does whatever and hopes he can pass it off as it looking retarded enough that it's funny. And it's really annoying because he's been doing this shit for 3 years now.
