So based on noble
@CatParty's advice, I got in touch with a few of the individuals who got recently labelled enemies of the state by Greta and company. Suffice to say, while a they didn't have a
huge amount of information they were comfortable sharing (or that we didn't already know), they nonetheless still had some interesting insights that I'll now share with you.
They wouldn't name names because they know that not only are the people involved still vulnerable, but because Greta has a reputation as someone who will try to fucking threaten and physically harm her critics. The long and short is that Greta's complete incapacity to vet basically
anyone has allowed TLL to pick up some
highly questionable individuals.
Whilst none of those I talked to are willing to discuss it openly, there's a
lot of concern that this failure to vet its staff is intentional, with full knowledge of the fact that it might potentially be allowing nasty people access to their victims of choice, since at the same time this has been going on, Greta has
repeatedly refused offers for training, and more important, help vetting her volunteers. Even Volunteers can relatively easily pay for their own background checks, but to them, TLL's refusal macks of intentionally allowing abusers to keep abusing.
There's no accountability, and Greta's steadfast refusal to allow
any oversight is, to them, highly suspicious.
