The ironic thing here is that it's the jeets that were, as jeets go, the most beneficial to Canada in terms of tax and societal input.

Only anecdotal but from reading that side of Twitter and Reddit, it's professionals and high earning working class and entrepreneurs that are leaving Canada. They've built up some equity and a nice nest egg, the kids all have a western passport, so they can go back home to the weather they prefer and live like fucking Maharaja's.

And, they're keeping their equity in Canada, so now you've got a growing absentee landlord class of Indians emerging because they don't need to sell up to buy decent property back home the way they would if moving within the West, and all the while leveraging the investment/immigration system to send their brothers/cousins/villagers over to repeat the cycle.

The jeets that are a net drain, especially the illegal ones, can't afford to leave.

What population in Western Europe would fight in a large scale war? They don’t have an abundance of hardened people like Ukraine does. There are barely any young Germans who aren’t soft rich urbanites, the German working class is largely East European or nonwhite. It’s the same story in Sweden/France/the UK, nobody is willing to die for a post-national liberal society.

NATO is fully aware of this, it’s why they’re fighting to the last Ukrainian. They’re very scared about what could come next.

Also no military service outside of some holdouts unlike the Ukraine. In here it ended sometime in mid 00s, meaning that nobody below around 35 went, and nobody below around 50 went unless they wanted or were extremely poor and isolated. In highschool one of the popular topics between us was the way out, and the prices for those who had no other way were about $600 towards the end, which one could make doing summer jobs.
Combine with well established culture of maliciouos compliance and incompetence as a way to resist the regime, and it's a big nightmare for the war mongering liberals, who of course in their proposals and wishes are not the ones who will be doing anything, that's up to people they hate, so in the past year I couldn't count how many times I've seen some variation of "we need to mobilize (but not me)/have a military service (but not for me), BUT THOSE ASSHOLES WILL MAKE A FARCE OUT OF IT"
