I think you are jumping a bit to conclusions, maybe its just a video that she wanted to make but wasnt allowed for whatever reason and she still wanted to make it.

True. But I just don’t think it’s a coincidence that she’s making a song not so subtly about shrimp, when not long ago Gura randomly revealed herself on her past life account as well. And this is also in the wake of the Amelia and Aqua graduations.

I don’t think it’s crazy to think that a decent amount of the talent aren’t enjoying the direction Cover is going, but obviously aren’t at liberty to actually say that.

I mean, its possible, how old is the song? Like 2 weeks old? Doesnt seem like much of a logic leap to just assume that she didnt want to go through managment to make something that was topical imo so she just used her own channel.

Once Vtubing became a "viable" career, it unfortunately meant that more and more would be scraping the bottom of the barrel to get khantent.

I had no idea who this was till I watched it. It's not so much tongue in cheek as it as her looking directly into the camera and UUUUing.

Maybe it's something. Maybe it's nothing. Maybe she just got a spark of creativity that only worked with this character. I don't know. It is a bit of a banger mix, ngl.

I mean it could have had something to do with the fact that their cover characters are pretty much set in stone so they probably can't do anything that isn't too off brand for what you would expect marketing reasons and brand recognition.

It's the same reason Tom Kenny can't use any voice similar to SpongeBob regardless of what other show he works on because of legal reasons and Viacom.

Speaking of Fauna, her and Gigi's Silent Hill 2 streams have been great. They've mostly been making fun of the game as they play it, like how nonplussed the cast is about murderous monsters or how James picks up random dirty syringes and stabs himself with them.

EDIT: Also, I wonder if Gigi's read up on the game. Her jokes about James being a psycho hue pretty close to the later plot revelations.
