This reminds me of my mother, who gives me a sweater every Christmas. She's done so for years, presumably using the logic of "I never see Dick wearing sweaters, it must be because he doesn't own any sweaters." I feel like a jerk, given that my response the past several years is 'I don't wear sweaters, please stop buying me sweaters, no I'm not going to just try it on anymore just leave it in the package so it can be returned', but the alternative in the past has been let one dresser drawer fill with sweaters until I take them to Goodwill. At one point I had a half-dozen virtually identical sweaters. I hate making my mom feel bad on Christmas but enough with the fuckin' sweaters.
Out of curiosity, how is your relationship with her besides this?

Reads like a woman posted it, mainly because of the term "parentifying", never seen a guy use that word except gross troons. still autistic as fuck though, and the mental image of an autistic land whale crying in a tattoo shop is funny.
Yeah, I 100% agree with you, "he" is just a generalized pronoun (and a pretty safe one to use with Reddit). The poster seems like an autistic girl who can't comprehend why that tattoo is a baffling decision to anyone.

Long time lurker, first time poster. (Teehee such a leddit thing amirite?)

Since the election I've watched /r/IWantOut which is for advice on moving to new places and /r/AmerExit which is for advice specifically for leaving the US. For obvious reason they've had a surge in inquiries.

Most of them have no clue what it's like moving to another country, don't do any research and want to be spoon fed the process. They have a very rose tinted view of other countries. They want affordable housing, social assistance, good healthcare, and no more politics. They have no work experience, 10 dogs, debilitating autism and mental disorders, and can only speak English. They expect to be embraced by some country that has the same shortages of jobs, housing, healthcare and all that.

As a leaf it's entertaining watching them talk about Canada like they can just walk right in. Sorry you can't do that unless you're an Indian "student" with a falsified bank statement and a network of other fraud artists already on the inside.

Both subreddits are full of milk but here are some great examples.

How can I bring my autistic son to Finland with only basic cooking skills? I'll send you photos of us!

Delusional troon wants to claim asylum before going to prison for life:

I live on SSI, how can I get to Canada by spring of 2025?

Now the best one. This troon has debilitating anxiety, pending bottom surgery, can't keep a job and lives on $450 a month. Trauma dumps everyone and wonders how to get into another country where he can leech off the homeless system, then breaks down over downvotes when people point out that this isn't feasible. Seems to thinks "mental health(TM)" is the magic word to get redditors to show the way into Canada.

OP then freaked out, deleted the thread, and posted this on both the suicidewatch and "highly sensitive people" subreddits:

I really love this sort of thing at any time, but troons fleeing Trump is the icing on the cake as they’ve never been denied anything before since they’re traaaans. Reddit strangers telling them there’s objectively no threat to their lives is so sweet.

It’s really clever that those “neo Nazis” are wearing masks so we can’t see that they’re the same guys who were in Charlottesville, etc.

Excellent milky post but FYI this links to the same post as the one below it.

Always amusing to see terminally online hysterical types act completely flabbergasted when they realize that the socialist utopia of Yurup that will let them in with open arms and give free housing/healthcare on the basis of them being queer and able to do a few NSFW fanart commissions a month, doesn't actually exist and the rest of the world doesn't actually view the 2024 election as a political crisis. Reminds me of the "all us blacks should move back to Africa" movement that happened in the Summer of Floyd that ended as soon as they realized most of the continent wasn't exactly safe, liberal, and queer-friendly, or the new "let's all move to Japan" attempt that feels like a gambit masterminded by junior high anime fag outcasts from 2005.

This is particularly funny to me because I know people like this in Brazil which have a similar view of Portugal/USA and let me tell you, they are not uncommon.

It's funny to see that Americans can suffer from the same rose tinted glasses and "stray dog syndrome" (everything foreigner is better!) that brazilian niggercattle can have.

Typically asking for or giving pricey gifts is a social faux pa anyways for that exact reason. A gift should be something small and thoughtful and if someone asks you for gift ideas you shouldn't tell them anything expensive anyways.
I think it depends on the circumstances, at least from the giving side. Actually asking for expensive gifts from someone who isn't your dad or spouse or whatever is almost always tacky. Sometimes, though, if someone is really a lot richer than their peers, and isn't just trying to buy admiration, giving someone something they couldn't otherwise afford for what's an insignificant sum to the giver is okay.

It's often bad though especially if it's some manipulative move to try to inflict an obligation on someone.

Yeah, Germany 1930s were just some cosplaying feds marching around in black with swastika flags and nothing else.

The fact that there were like 5 of them and they were stomping around in some random Ohio town suggests that they are probably not feds. Neo Nazis exist and of course in today's internet age most of them will want to hide their identities.

Feds would counter-demonstrate at a pride rally or a woman's march in DC or New York for maximum ragebait visibility and narrative control.

why did you wanna go to Finland I have a friend who lives in Finland and if you're not finish is a very depressing place
Whatever do you mean? just look at this video showcasing the vibrant, active and not at all depressing life in the Jewel of Finland, Turku.
Who would not want to move to such a positive and happy place?

One fatso and two retards cosplaying as Ermac waving Nazi flags is all it takes to make redditors shit themselves? The funny thing is redditors are going to have alot in common with these neo nazis. They're both unemployed unfuckable terminally online autists virgins that want attention.

Generally pretty good - I mean, the issue that impelled me to sperg a bit here was a particular unwanted gift that she repeatedly buys me. If we were hostile to one another I'd probably be complaining about a lot more stuff/more serious stuff.

I see the local FBI recruitment drive for young disaffected youth went off without a hitch in Ohio.

Just kidding this is probably a local group of edgy idiots and Reddit is overblowing it like it's the fucking end of the world. They are desperate for the nazis to come back so they can legitimately be oppressed.
