1) Injections require sterile environment to avoid having microbes present in the medication and usually are sterilized as you said.
2) You need to have precision in knowing exactly how much of each raw material is being placed, with the correct amount. More isn't better here
3) Proper mixing of the powder into solvent/benzyl alcohol then mixing into the oil base. Mixing is critical to avoid the fallout of powder using as well as using as little benzyl alcohol as possible. Mixing is it's own art, especially with oils here in the proper steps.
4) You need to know 100% of what exactly each raw material is, conforming that the manufacture sent you the right product.
5) These materials have to be medical grade, even the inactive materials. Industrial grade can have slight impurities that won't affect an industrial process like a lubricant but will fuck over a medical use.
You know the trannies will just throw random shit together in a vial in a kitchen.

No, the swab is just for the bacteria living on your skin and won't help if your gear or rig is dirty. If you shoot dirty you can sometimes get a bit of an infection or fever, but 99 times in 100 you'll be perfectly fine.

I mean frankly you could nearly follow this guide with the addition of benzyl benzoate as a cosolvent and some ratios mixed around. Just clean up the work area a bit more and make a still air box or something, and i'd go with a mag stirrer instead of shaking a media bottle.

It's probably not true, but I remember a story somebody told me about a FOAF who was in the habit of using the water from toilet bowls to shoot up with. Normally, so the story went, he'd flush the toilet and take the water from out of the cistern as it filled up the pan, but sometimes, if he was a bit sick or in a hurry, he'd just draw up from the bowl and bang it straight in.

So on one occasion, he's in something of a hurry. Half dopesick, it'd taken him all morning to score, so when he finally gets his fix he dashes into the nearest coffee shop and locks himself into a cubicle. He's in too much of a hurry to be bothered with flushing and drawing from the flush -- he just draws it up out of the pan and transfers it to the spoon. What does it matter, right? He's gonna cook it up before he shoots it. That'll sterilize the solution. What can possibly go wrong?

So he focuses on mixing the dope, cooking it up and filtering it. When he's done, he ties himself off and shoots it into the cubital vein. Ahhh. How badly he needed that. How long had he been waiting for it? Such a relief...

As the dope starts to kick in, his eyes wander back to the toilet bowl, and lying just beneath the water but clearly visible to anybody who cares to look was an enormous eight inch long turd, just soaking in the solution.

Next thing you know this teenager is stealing money from his parents to buy one of these kits so he can mainline bootleg cross-sex hormones he brewed from a kit and probably die from necrotizing fasciitis (it's a horrible way to go since you get to watch a bacterial infection literally kill and consume your skin as it rots away in real time) because brewing injectable drugs at home with zero knowledge or training outside of a completely sterile environment is pants-on-head retarded.

In this instance, regulation is actually the answer because trying to cook up drugs that you inject into your body using ingredients you bought on the internet will fucking kill you. If there was ever a reason to have drug laws with long prison sentences, this would be it. Bootleg troonshine stores will sell you the keys to your own destruction and call it affirmative care.

If there is one thing that bureaucratic federal agencies do not like is ceding their authority to unlicensed practitioners. Committing a federal offense is never a good idea.
