And the motivation for this massive conspiracy? Nick speaks out against his local government sometimes. I used to be an avid watcher and I don't remember him ever doing that so it must be a more recent thing.

I watched semi-regularly until 2024, and even then I would check the logs and transcripts to keep up on the trash fire. He would talk trash about small town living, but he wasn't "on the beat" exposing the local government. That was a Barnes invention (or a Nick lie to Barnes). The only time he singled out locals was in the context of getting pulled over, and even those he would frame in weasel words, like the time he got pulled over in Iowa on I35 for speeding on his way down to Matsuri (or some other live event).

He has to create such an elaborate conspiracy against him because there is so much evidence against him that any non-retarded person can see that he is guilty of what he is being accused of. He has no plausible deniability. Even before the arrest it was obvious that things weren't going well for him in his personal life given how every stream he did had him blatantly under the influence to the most severe degree. It was easy to tell then that things weren't going well in the Rekieta household. Since then we have had the CPS report and his daughters positive drug test to put the final nails in the coffin for him.

Being able to contort precise meanings of words is still a magic spell to Rekieta. He still believes that if you find the exact, precise sequence of words, you can make all your trouble go away, no matter the evidence. He really, truly believes that you can find some series of technicalities that makes everything go away. The charges against him were light given the evidence of the child having done coke. It seems like they really only went for what they had to, and that makes sense in terms of him getting shitty deal offers from the prosecutors.

As it turns out, these sorts of word games generally don't play well in real courts, but Rekieta wouldn't know because he's never won a case. It is shocking to me that he's still trying to word game his way around such a terrible fact pattern after 6 months of getting felted left and right.

Also, I'm not sure we can read too much into the case getting sealed since that seems to be the norm for CPS cases in many places.

I remember something like that vaguely. I would not be shocked given the amount of gay ops that occur when e-celebs get desperate.
