It's not even really hate in most cases with troon stuff, they're just not being indulged any more. Tony: Republicans know it was never about sports. Riley Gaines herself said she supported bans on transwomen in darts, pool, disc golf, and even chess.

Tony is skeptical that darts, pool, disc golf and chess are sports that anybody could possibly think men have a physical advantage in. He doesn't realise his own implication. By dismissing the possibility that there could be an issue in those sports with transwomen (even though the only one that isn't physical is chess), he is implying that other, physical sports could be a problem.

Tony: Chess? How could you think chess is a problem to have transwomen playing against women?
