To be fair, Lichtman has been around for a long time now. I think the reason why he was so relevant this year is because he misapplied his keys to predict Kamala would win. When all polls favored Trump, the media had to resort to Lichtman for copium.

It is a chronic problem with right wingers and Libertarians to assume that the left ever care about rules of engagement or principles. Principles and rules of engagement are for people who use the same rulebook you do. But the left have proven over and over again. That they would poison your food, blow up your kids in school and commit the worse terror attacks posable if it got them in to the White House.
"Stick to your principles" is a line that is only ever used against the right wing. To prevent you from forcefully shutting down an attacking enemy.
Simple example of: Free speech. Leftists for years used Twitter to supress the lawful free speech of the right. With the argument of "It's a private company". Never mind that they were colluding with the US government to do it, Government funded NGOs smearing and supressing people. Now they beg you to stop Elon from fucking them because "Don't you believe in free speech? Stick to your principles". To call him off, and go back to the easily defeated right wing of the 2010s.

A far left lawyer group that tried to illegally sell his business to whoever they decided to despite having no control over his business until after the auction had concluded. They outright said in court they want to earn everything he makes and wants to shut down anyone that works with him so he can no longer sell products. They wish to strip him of his freespeech, look at who owns and funds The Onion and their "bid" it is a newly named group of anti-gun activists that want him dead. As I said in a previous post, he's been nothing but supportive of the families and reached settlements before these people bulldozed in and tried to get him stopped. This whole thing is a disaster anyway because the only thing he did was on a broadcast read out internet articles claim it was a hoax.
Look at what they've said in court, they want to make it so he can't even use his own name anymore because they own his name. They sent people to shutdown his studio without the judge's knowledge after a fake auction that they declared themselves winners of out of nowhere.
