That's not the point. The point is that he has talked about Israel non-stop and almost nothing else. The only non-Israel related tweets he's made are one tweet about Laken Riley's killer being found guilty, one tweet about the border, a couple tweets about some farm bill, and one tweet congratulating Kristi Noem on being appointed head of Homeland Security.

Compare that to Trump's Truth Social where he hasn't mentioned Israel at all in that timeframe but he has talked about important things like a Senate race being stolen in Pennsylvania, the Senate confirming Biden's judges without a fight, his plans to use the military to deport illegals, and announcing countless cabinet picks. The former two are things that directly affect Thune.

If Republicans want to win elections, they have to talk about issues that actually matter to the American people, not about a semite civil war on the other side of the planet.

Trump's election really moved shit here fast.
Now the police "uncovered" a plot from 2022 to poison Lula and his cronies with our Green berets and the highest ranks of the armed forces involved, also bolsonaro was supposed to take part in it, so i expect in the next few weeks either nothing happening and the goverment who has biden tier popularity and it's desperate because the only supporters it has left is banks and foreign investors because the left-wing base abandoned them due to gigantic welfare and spending cuts and being opposed to ending the 44 hour, six day a week worktime or Bolsonaro being arrested, the army getting even more pissed and censorship and lawfare against any dissenting voices.

I expect similar shit to happen all over with left-wing goverments, Germany is a hair's breath to banning AfD, same in France with arresting Le pen, Romania and Moldavia banned any opposition because of "muh russia", Colombia, Mexico managed to coup the electoral judiciary and the supreme courts there, etc.
They will not allow a right-wing or anti-establishment nationalist to be in power.
Again, Americans don't realize how scared people are of anti-globalists getting elected democratically, they will do every dirty move, including assassinations against them.

I think it failed in America because of the Biden coup, if he was running, the party wouldn't be split and the lawfare and ballot stuffing would happen as it did in 2020.

JD Vance gives me a bit of hope though. He's a career politician who also has a salient understanding of what people like about Trumpism and why they want it. If anyone's going to get through the downballot GOP's collective thick skulls it'll be him.

I'm not sure why we should taking their social media as indicative of their actual intent. Thune looks like he's just doing the socmed equivalent of kissing Israel's ring. (Insert snark about how the GAE is really just the Jew Empire).

I'll watch more on what they do over the next few months as indicators on how they wish to proceed for the next few years.
