From what information has been dropped by others, drug and alcohol testing stopped a couple of weeks ago - around the time that Nick and April both started their full on, seemingly substance driven, posting storms on Twitter.

We already knew that the CHIPS case was due for review about now and that this was the most likely outcome if Nick and Kayla checked off the required boxes. Although what Kayla did wasn't discussed, Nick indicated that he was checking off the required boxes, even if he was half-assing it. We also knew that Bob and Celeste were making a show of being supportive.

I know that people desperately want Nick to be eternally punished but what's happened here is pretty standard. The only thing which would have been different here is that the case file would remain open for another 6 months before being officially closed if there were no further reports. The agency would not actively monitor during that period and any further involvement on their part would be reactive in response to further reports. The system just doesn't have the resources to intensively manage cases for prolonged periods of time and there are far more egregious cases than this one which get prioritised.

There have been multiple claims ITT that Nick had failed some of his drug tests. Granted those were made by some random sources, but do we trust Nick any more.

In my case, I will doubt it until I see a signed order. This is the safest way to deal with Balldo's words. I do not hold the illusion that Nick will be punished as I think he should be, but I believe that he will crow about any win he can claw from an overburdened system.
