It is accepted as fact that organisms in different environments will evolve over time to adapt to their environments. We have been able to exploit this for thousands of years through agriculture and animal husbandry. What, then, could possibly make a human being different in this regard?
Perhaps if we have something outside the physical that controls us, it would be able to override our base animal urges. Some might even say this ability was given to us by a capital-G God (a universal creator/supreme being, rather than just something powerful that is worshipped).
This probably doesn't seem that wild to religious Kiwis. I just find it weird that so many atheists will be against racism (because they just are, ok?) and followers of Abrahamics will go against their faith just to be racist. Is the culture war really so powerful that people are unable to recognize where their beliefs stem from?
