Greta Gustava Martela / Kjel Anderson & Nina Chaubal / Niraj Chaubal - Stole $350k+ from Trans Lifeline, kill count of 2+ from negligence, Founders of Sisterwood/La Zorra.

Thanks! I must have skimmed that post and missed it!

Ok, now they said they came to California to look for a new home/to move to California permanently. Can they move with this going on? Or will they have to stay in Chicago until the case is complete? Can they transfer the case to a California court if it has already been seen in Chicago (such as moving after having been in court once or twice already in Chicago)? I wonder if they were moving for the Sanctuary City thing. Has Nina had any recent issues with her passport/visa while in Chicago?

I am just wondering if the continuing fundraising is their way of moving up their relocation plans so that Nina would get a more lenient Immigration Judge, and the attorneys in California have more experience in Immigration and Trans issues I would think.

I just hope that Gloria Allred isn't going to make this her Cause Du'juor.

People have a fundamental misunderstanding of what a sanctuary city is. All that means is that local resources won't be expended to persecute her, if the federal authorities have any interest in pursuing Pajeet she's fucked regardless if she resides in a sanctuary city or not. Translifeline is where this whole thing gets very interesting. If allegations of financial or charity fraud are raised this makes it much more likely she will be pursued and eventually prosecuted.

Also, where are they gonna move to in California?

I think they wanted to go to San Francisco?

Also, if the IRS or whoever investigates Pajeet finds indications of charity fraud, wouldn't that het forwarded to the IRS? I'm sure a referral from another federal agency would be something they like a lot. And Greta'd be on the hook too.

Honestly, Las Vegas would be a better option for them.
Outside of the border zone, a sanctuary city, and full of freaks.
Just the place for lowlife hustlers like them.

Vegas has a pretty damn big ICE presence thanks to it being a pretty popular international tourist destination for Arabs and Central Americans. She'll get grabbed again if they end up there

We know they can get it moved to Chicago thanks to all the information Mirna has provided, but what I'm curious to know is how it will work out with their plans to move. I don't know if they can get it moved again if they have a change of residency, and I really feel like they don't have enough foresight to check. I can't imagine their constant road tripping is going to help either. If Greta can't manage to get visitation hours right just imagine how much trouble court dates will be. The fact that their supposed lawyer is also based out of Washington just throws another wrench into things.

I don't know how solid their moving plans were but to request the case be moved to another Immigration Court they need to show a fixed, permanent address. IC requires regular appearances before the court (at least every 9 months) so they will approve a case being moved to a court closest to your permanent residence because you must appear in person at court frequently at master calendar hearings before the IJ. So they will need an actual fixed residency in CA to request a venue change to CA. At this moment they can only request a venue change to Chicago, not CA just because they "plan" to move there in the future.

(Keep in mind you have to register your address with USCIS/ICE, if you move you must give them advanced notice of any such move) They do not allow venue change requests on a whim, or because you think your chances are better at a certain court. Venue changes are only allowed to make travel to court easier but even that's only relative. (The closest IC to us was a three hour drive.)

They could try to request it be moved to Chicago and then California if they actually move there. They just better not think they can move without proper advanced notification to the courts and ICE. If you register an address you actually don't live there and it's discovered, you will be immediately put back into detention until your case is adjudicated.

Heh. They're fucked unless they relocate to the heartland of the United States.
You know, the parts they really, really, really hate.

Pretty much, their best shot is somewhere without a major or even somewhat busy international airport, a direct route to Mexico or Canada nearby and not on the coast.

So Boise, Salt Lake City, Louisville, Wyoming, Cedar Falls, Grand Rapids and Des Moines

I can see it happening already, they get the case moved to another court district (something the federal government is generous enough to do for them) and then, when the time comest to appear in court for a hearing they're going to be on another donation-funded cross-country trip to NYC or some shit, missing the court date and Pajeet's going to get in absentia ordered to leave the country.

Probably Salt Lake would be best. Pretty decent LGBT community I hear. We just had a Trans woman run for Governor here. But we do have a large number of Mexicans here, so I would Imagine ICE has a presence here. But to be fare, I never hear about any illegals being deport on the news here.

I don't think Govt agencies talk to each other as much as one thinks, competition and resentment is more common among agencies than cooperation. The IRS will not investigate Pajeet unless they are aware of a need to, an immigration case will not automatically trigger them looking into anything because they probably won't be aware of it unless USCIS or someone brings it to their attention. The IRS is actually the bigger power in this dynamic and it's more common the IRS alerts USCIS to stuff than vice versa. (As such the USCIS only allows IRS records/income to verify sponsors and requires you show proof of tax compliance to meet many of their requirements.)

The funny thing is the IRS damn well expects you to pay taxes even if you aren't legal.

My husband was actually given a special Tax ID number that they give to non-citizens or people without SS# to use to pay his taxes before he had his green card. We will very concerned about doing everything on the up and up so we did everything by the book. The IRS doesn't really care about your legality in this country, only that you better be paying taxes if you get one thin dime while you are here. So Nina better have one of those special IRS tax ID's and be paying taxes on her TLL income. A lot of legal immigrants are scared to pay taxes, thinking doing so will alert USCIS/ICE to their presence, but it won't. On the other hand if the IRS discovers you are illegal and not paying taxes not only will they go after you but they will also alert USCIS and get them on your ass.

Salt Lake's a better city than they deserve for sure. It's essentially Denver with slightly better weather and much better traffic

Also, the Mexicans in Salt Lake City are probably Mormons, so I doubt most of them are there illegally.

Nah, they're mostly Catholic still. Mormons and Catholics buddy up real nice. Probably because they're the only two forms of Christianity that have any structure and clout with anyone outside of fat moms on facebook

Boise would not a good match for them. On one hand, illegal immigrants are fairly common and ignored because there are lots of farms, but on the other hand people are extremely friendly unless you're a giant ogre in a dress. Then they're pretty cold and unfriendly.

Reputation means a lot there because the community is so small and I'm constantly seeing people get kicked out of the troon community there for stupid reasons and accusations of sexual assault that may or may not be true. (No convictions from what I've seen) Even outside of the troons, people there get a whiff of charity scams and you're done. Boise also still has a noticable (real) neonazi presence because of that compound by Canada that failed.

Boise likes to pretend that they're modern and hipster but is really just a "good Christian town" in disguise. I'd love to see them both throw a fit when they realize people aren't going put them on a pedestal for being trans and people will turn on them quick if the scam ever gets any decent light shone on it.
