How are the Cars diecast distributions for everyone else? I'm just beginning to see GRC/new for 2024 cars show up at my local stores; it's like we barely got anything else this year. Also, are the NASCAR versions particularly difficult to find? I missed out on them, and now that they're coming back, I'd like to secure some this time.

Explain this Pixar.

So, Disney just announced that they are getting rid of MuppetVision 3D and replacing the entire area with some Monsters Inc. related garbage. Jim Henson is rolling in his fucking grave right now.
So has Disney just given up on making Muppets popular again? They made two theatrical movies, a failed Modern Family clone, and then stuck to Disney+ specials. Probably for the best, we're far too familiar with how they mutilated their other money makers.

Seems the first social media reactions for Moana 2 are positive. I'll spare you the Twitter slop, the tl;dr is that the lore is heavier this time around, the supporting cast is decent, visuals are great and the songs, while OK, aren't a patch on the first film's OST. Not surprising, given Miranda didn't work on this.

Hopefully this one has an actual story unlike the original. It was so boring, most of the movie didn't matter the slightest and I could guess every story beat. Not because it made sense following what had happened before but because you supposed to have this sort scene right about this point of a running time. Genuinely underwhelming movie.

Some good songs, nice water effects and Maui had cool tattoos but that's about it.

The Muppets aren't going to be gone entirely, for what it's worth.

Have they tried introducing a gay transgender Muppet of color?

The Muppets modern legacy will be just having occasionally unfunny skits on The Game Awards.

They're not gonna do Hunchback for a million reasons but a primary one is that it isn't really that popular among kids and there are relatively few merchandising opportunities.
I'm actually quite surprised they managed to pull off the original animated version to begin with. The original story was incredibly dark, taking potshots at society's prejudices and sacred cows, and ending with nearly everyone getting brutally massacred, including Esmeralda and the Hunchback. If you ever want to traumatize a kid, have them read the unabridged original story...
