Is that his real torso? There's a weird color difference between his head and neck area and the torso, unless it's just the fake tattoos?
It just looks like an adult version of the costume made for kids that had the fake torso with tattoos and muscles.

Speaking of moana, Disney has released the full soundtrack of the sequel and it's basically what would happen if we went to 2016, got a Hamilton fan girl who loves LMM to make a bunch of fan songs but the twist is that this is going to be officially released.

I listed all the awkward lines for fun:

“don’t waste all this energy cus you’ve got the remedy, and I know your legacy” a very vague line connected with one that’s not really related
“..but you bring the reckoning, so drop all the fear and the questioning” I might be wrong but “reckoning” and “questioning” have hard and soft emphasis respectively so even ignoring the bad “-ing” rhyming it doesn’t even work
“Skips leg day for real” terminal quirkiness spotted
“Can you imagine the legend this epic voyage reveals” revealing sounds way too neutral for a “legend”
Saying “I don’t come to play” after “to me it’s just Tuesday” (stating their obstacle’s just normal for him) that is just direct contradiction is it not
“Even though odds couldn’t be worse” it triggers me that’s there’s no “the” in front of “odds”
Then for some reason in the final chorus they switch up “go get your destiny” with “unlock” and then “go find”, which doesn’t make sense at all because finding your future means you haven’t unlocked and discovered it yet.

It's a body suit and is quite apparent in clearer images. One has to assume that'll be augmented/replaced by CGI in post-production. Which is kind of nuts and probably due to Dwayne being too much of a diva to stand around getting painted every day before shooting.

I will caveat the digital alteration by the fact that things often look better when film with the right settings and mediums than otherwise. So it may look fine on the filming camera with their lighting. Or even it may just need minor adjustments like slighting altering the colour to better match skin tones.

Expect in two years time to have Corridor Digital react and pointing out how the necklace is the seem between the real Rock and the altered body.

Sorry to waffle on, it is interesting because the body suit makes Dwayne only a bit chunkier, no where near the original character and wasn't the obese Islander stereotype a point of criticism the first time around?

To be fair his tattoos supposed to be magical moving tattoos and he supposed to look bigger than a regular man because he's a demigod. Bodysuit probably made more sense with those limitations and was faster and cheaper than painting a man consistently every day.
