I think if he pleads guilty and accepts the plea and everything is finalized, the body cam footage is now fair game.

If he goes to trial, I don’t think we’re allowed to see it until the jury sees it. Otherwise it might taint the case. At minimum if it goes to trial, it might go public when the prosecution introduces it into evidence.
