I hate to be /that/ guy but it's quite sad what happened to Shmorky, he went from highly respectable to a complete laughing stock. People refuse to work with him, he's shit on through social media, and his life is overall shit.

But fuck man...if I could draw like him I'd be making BANK. Good talent gone to waste.

Well I'm not sure if I'd call a diaper wearing babyfur 'highly respectable'..

But yeah he's an idiot for not taking up propositions from cartoon studios when he had the chance.

The entertainment industry is brutal. He's never going to work a day again in his life -- At least, in that field. I know people who would kill for the opportunities he had, but he went and squandered it. He can't even hope to get pity work now.

It's nice to know that we have condemned him to a life of flipping burgers.

Lowtax really couldn't care less about gender issue bullshit. He cares about his piggy bank filling up each month with sweet tardbux. He isn't an SJW at all, in fact at one point, iirc, he identified as a libertarian that leaned to the right.

The fact that he let his site turn into the SJW horrorshow that it is now is basically the result of laziness and institutional inertia coupled with his overall tendency to just "check out" of things that bother him. Despite how he acts online he doesn't like confrontations at all and would prefer to have others handle it, whoever they are, and to enjoy the profits.

He didn't see the issues with Shmorky, I think, in part because of his laziness and ability to just "check out" of uncomfortable things as a way of mitigating his stressful life of marginally "running" a barely working comedy website that used to be sort of a big deal.

Yeah I'll be honest... I don't get the praise for his art in this thread. It's better than I could do but I'm not an artist. His stuff is very bland to me (when it isn't outright disgusting).

I know nothing about art theory. Is there some reason you guys saying "he's a good artist too bad he's terrible" like his stuff? Any artists in this thread have smarty pants words they can use to tell me why I'm wrong?

Edit: His main talent seems to be animation, which I won't lie, is p. good, however again, his art is a factor in that, and it's dull and bland to me.

He's a decent animator. That's really his thing. Just like John KrispyFallujah of Ren and Stimpy fame.
