Nah, I don't like internet armchair psychology, most likely explanation based on his father interview and other pieces of information, the most likely explanation is that he grew up in a Right-Wing family, eventually moved to California to start his own companies, got famous and as such got surrounded by California's liberal elites which made him adopt liberal views by a combination of peer pressure and living in this echo chamber.
