To an extent this is agreeable, but only really as far as the "shit-eating" part. The "16-y/o-diddling" part, not as much. I wouldn't exactly call a paedophile forcing his sick, shitty fetishes onto kids "hilarious", but maybe that's just my personal taste.

Unless you have Trillian Pro, all chatlogs are stored locally on the device they were sent to and don't sync unless open on multiple platforms at the same time. So if you switched computers at any point, the rest of the logs are likely on your old computer. If you wiped your computer, then they're gone for good. If you used a phone for any of the messages, logs could be stored there, too. Uninstalling Trillian and selecting the option to delete all associated data can also make you lose logs. Did you have any other device you could check on?

As far as Shmorky having net access goes, whenever I've taken someone for psych evaluation the process takes many hours. They don't usually take your phone away until you're actually admitted to the psych ward, so you can still have access for a long time while you're waiting around to be seen and/or for them to make decisions about a course of action.

It's not much proof on my end but I knew a few people who had known both Peaches and SandyPants, and it was mentioned to me years ago that they were one and the same. I had forgotten about both accounts until this all came up. It may have been an open secret of sorts?

If you look at both of accounts and see who they drew art for, and who drew art for them, it's basically all the same people. The same names keep coming up between both accounts.

There's also this lamb picture on Peaches' account that looks very familiar to SandyPant's lamb character:

thank you, this answers my question completely. it actually probably would have been better to just DM you in retrospect, so my bad. i still totally believe the Shmorky = Sandy thing, it just felt like there was a single missing link to me with that piece of info so i appreciate it.

the sheep picture on the Peaches account immediately reminded me of Sandy too. when i glanced at the gallery this morning i even figured it was Sandy art but i left right away without reading the title or full-viewing it and only noticed it apparently wasn't art of Sandy (at least as her Sandypants incarnation) when i got home and looked at the gallery again while rereading. but yeah, as @Gabriel said, the blocky legs and arms match up, so it's probably like an early draft.

Seconding this! I have a friend who works in the mental ward of a hospital in Virginia and she said that the fact he was able to draw there was pure bullshit if he was there for a suicide attempt. The only way you would be able to get pencils / pens in the hospital would be if you're there for something other than suicide. His phone would be taken as well.

So either there's wildly incompetent staff there or he's faking it.

That's weird. It's not just to stop you doing things which might worsen your mental health here, it's a privacy thing. Even visitors can't take their phones into the ward - they have to put them in a locker before entering - because they don't want people taking images of people having meltdowns and uploading them to the internet.

Art therapy and journaling are big in psych wards here, though, so you do have supervised access to pencils, paint brushes and other shit which could be fashioned into a weapon - even though you have to use plastic cutlery. It's a bit inconsistent, really.

Let's just stop with the difference in hospital talk. All wards are different. My sibling was allowed to draw after suicide attempts because that was her therapy essentially. Really it doesn't matter and is all speculation until shmorky posts more.
