Asking on social media is a really good way to get scammed. I could write a novel on how you SHOULD go about getting a commission, but this isn't the place for it. As a starter though, its a bit of a red flag when both people replying to your post use the same art piece as an example:

Honestly, that 100% is the problem, yes. Ideally you want to go looking for artists you like (and then do a quick 'track record' check to make sure that they have experience, that their work is consistent and they're not just showing off the only four polished pieces they've ever drawn, that they can draw what you're wanting, and that it's not AI or stolen shit) and you reach out to THEM. If you do want to do a 'wanted ad', you only put that up in a pre-screened community... and even then you get ready to screen out a LOT of scammers, bad art, etc.

I don't know why Stapphy is even bothering with this; she isn't willing to pay what good art will cost, and she's already shown that she's very open to just AI-generating fap material if it's for horny purposes.
Plus, andi know we've had this conversation in here before, but imagine being the artist who takes this challenge up and getting sent 'reference images' of her salmon slappers.

Also, while I have not had a Staph dream, I did waste a little time on fagsgiving imagining an A24-style movie based on various pieces of lore and her Salmon Slappers fic. You can see it under the spoiler below; may you be entertained.


Mia Goth plays Sigrid, a weird-looking girl who was abandoned as an infant outside of a Viking village. She was saved from exposure and adopted by a couple who had lost all their children to various illnesses, but her true parents are unknown and nobody in the village can think of who they may be. Other than her adopters, everyone thinks Sigrid is a bad omen of sorts, but they mostly tolerate her because she just seems harmlessly dumb.
One day, she is fucking around by the river while spacing out and avoiding her chores. She is approached by the village molester, who is wearing a crown he had made out of antlers. He tells her he is an emissary of Loki and gives her the cringe dialogue from Staph's story. The audience sees him as the creep he is, but Sig envisions him as a handsome God and accepts his entreaty to do the nasty. Her salmon tits slap all around as the camera alternates between her face, the way she imagines his face, and his actual face while they hump.

After this encounter, Sig is convinced she has been possessed by the spirit of a chaos god. She starts with small acts of mischief, but gradually escalates until she is leading all the village kids into the woods and encouraging to eat poisonous plants while touching one another. She tells them she is channeling a deity, so they do her bidding; several are permanently injured, several of them possibly die, and everyone is traumatized.
In between these increasingly alarming events, she sneaks off into the forest to rendezvous with "Loki"; as one scene is just of her jilling alone against a tree, it's possible any of those encounters may only happen in her mind.

Her adoptive parents are freaked out, but afraid to do anything for fear of reprisal from either the chaos god or from Sig herself. Eventually she gets into a huge fight with them, repeatedly braining her adoptive mom with a loaf of bread before setting their hut on fire. From there, she ignites the entire village (including the faux-Loki molester, although accidentally), then stands on the outskirts naked except for the Fauxki antler crown, shouting vaguely religious gibberish while pounding arrhythmically on a drum.

Just then, a bunch of invaders arrive, surprised to find the village is already burning. They're also more than a bit alarmed by Sig, who is all too ready to surrender herself to them. Even though she's naked, they really don't want to take her (in any sense). The movie ends, ambiguous as to whether they kill her and risk "the wrath of Loki" or take her as prisoner and incur the wrath of Sig herself. Et finit.
