Dude, there are youtube comments, claiming she needs to get out of the way of Stolitz and let her father be happy, and be happy that he’s happy like today. Now, that’s not really how a parent-child relationship is supposed to go, but these people are delusional and treat children as accessories in stories then as characters. There was a (really melodramatic, just awful) fanfic I read that Stolas has a panic attack over some note Blitzo leaves him, and it’s his 17 YO Daughter that needs to get him through it. Let me say that again. The powerful demon prince needs his underaged daughter to help him through his accurate panic attack. That is where their minds are at. Thinking about it hurts my head.

No one can infantilize this guy more than his own fans, while also making him the most pathetic, weak, and frankly selfish version of himself. The worst part is that Anti-Stolas fics aren’t much better, because they use a ton of Tumblr buzzwords and arguments to infantilize Blitzo instead, and it’s just, no, this guy is also scum, he literally opened the trial with “Is this about the orphans, because they were already sick to begin with.” Like, if anything, Ars Goetia would just want to use Imp to either Kill stolas, or kick him to the curb because he sucks at his job. If anything came to light regarding sexual transactions unfair or not, the response would more likely be “Okay, he did that. So what? You were good for something then, you filthy imp.” They can’t even get their class warfare bullshit right, and that’s supposedly a huge theme for them.

As for the last point, I think I read on Tumblr, that someone with access to a patreon thing Viv did, stated that Stella was a decent, if not good mother to Octavia. So with that in mind, though I do take it with a grain of salt as it was not stated in the show, she does love her daughter, she also just really fucking hates Stolas, and for good reason.

God grief, lemme share that awful fancomic called "The Alternate Deal" I had the missfortune of reading a while ago. The summary of it is Stolas gets beaten and poisoned by Stella because he's an imp-fucking faggot class-traitor. Stolas conspires with Blitzo to murder her because he "fears" what she might do to Octavia once he's out of the picture. Stella gets ambushed and assassinated while trying to kill Blitzo disregard that, not even trying to kill Blitzo. She was on her way to a meetup at a cafe, got abducted by the I.M.P. crew, shot by Moxxie and then executed by Blitzo while begging for her life. For some ungodly reason, the comic has this near-obscene close up of her begging for her life before concluding with the funeral of Stella, Octavia in tears with Stolas comforting her (which is yet another broken S.o.D. for me) before he runs off to his bedroom to get fucked by Blitzo (which was the far more likely outcome if Stella died). EDIT: Turns out, there was more pages with the funeral of Stolas who finally croaked to Stella's poison while Blitzo swoops in and convinces a mourning Octavia to go with him.

Seriously, that guy is a worthless fruit that considers getting an imp-dick up his bum while indulging in his Peter Pan syndrome to be more important than taking care of his fucking daughter. The same daughter he promised to never abandon. Stolas is the platonic example of a married man "discovering" his homosexuality, isn't he?

And besides, you'd think that there would be a much stronger response to a Goetia getting murdered. There ought to be whole platoons of hellhounds searching every inch of the murder scene to try and hunt down the assassin of her. Andrealphus would stop at nothing to tie it to Stolas.

The funny thing is, that would be a beautiful, tragic end if Viv was going for a downfall Ala Bojack Horseman. She has Bojack right here. He has some likable traits and a goal that we can root for (Octavia and salvaging that relationship). He has a tragic flaw that is practically shakespearian in nature, his impulsiveness and his tendency to obsess over new things. She seems to refuse to use either. Like, as a B-Plot, Stolas’s downfall would be amazing if it stuck AND if Stolitz never happens. Because then he truly does lose anything, and there’s no one to blame but himself, so ball is in his court. He can now take this lesson and try to better himself. (Please note I despise Stolas, and I did not write how he then get’s brutally murdered or convicted and beaten like a cur)

The thing is, the fighting had to have started after Stolas had the affair. Do you think Stella would have pretended for 17 years that she actually cared for Stolas? The Stella that pretty much reacts to the extreme, before she even thinks through all the consequences? This Stella wears her emotions on her sleeve...and is an idiot.

This is why when people are saying "Oh that evil smile Stella has, is because she's so cunning and manipulating Octavia to be on her side". Bitch, this woman literally screamed that she wanted her husband killed at the dinner table right in front of her husband and daughter. Stella would have probably been throwing a party for her husband's downfall, but instead she actively goes looking for her daughter and offers her comfort. It would be one thing if someone tried to make the excuse that Stolas was just caught up in the moment and didn't think the whole thing through (I've seen this exact argument, not that it works all that well considering Stolas didn't push Blitzo out of the way of an oncoming bus or whatever sacrifice that would take five seconds instead of the several minutes at least that we saw, in case we saw Stolas not thinking once about Octavia and having a not thought about backing down still makes him look like shit.), but Fujos  always must only blame Octavia. God forbid they admit Stolas fucked up and is to blame for a situation he found himself in.

Besides, we can't forget Seeing Stars exists where Stolas forgets about this big event that Octavia wanted to see with him (admittedly not too bad on it's own), but then spends the vast majority of his time 'searching' for his missing daughter instead fucking around in a studio with Blitzo, when every single second should have him panicking that Octavia is in serious danger.
