The dirty secret of high frame rates is that they look awesome in animation but they make live action footage look cheaper and shittier.

They reduce the need for things like tweening and "smear frames" in animation. But it makes live action look really janky. There's a reason for the 24/30 fps standard. It's not that it's impossible to do higher framerates for live action and have it turn out well but it takes a lot more voodoo.
