Agreed. People are going to smoke, drink, and shoot one another until the sun stops shining. You buy a drink, you've got a drink; the distillery isn't going to ring you up and tell you that they're not going to be filling that glass after throwing a thousand-page manual at you. Insurance is an absolute scam. You buy into it, hope to never have to use it, and the one time you need it they'll try and find every possible way to weasel out of their end of the agreement. They disgust me more than CEOs for alcohol, or tobacco, or defense companies. At least you know what those people sell - it says it on the tin. Healthcare companies in the US suck people dry and do next to nothing for them.
Professional hitmen aren't a real thing, killing people for money is always a side-hustle at best.Probably because most people don’t know what the actual standards are for ‘professional’ level hits outside of movies and vidya? I sure don’t, never known a professional hit man.
I think it's more likely he has a change of clothes in his backpack.Still, could be possible he have an accomplice who wait for him in a gateway car somewhere once he drop his gateway bike?
Yep. So?Do you realize where you are right now?
I'm pretty sure the B&T VP9 IS a Welrod. made for... Veterinary use (the "V" in "VP9").The gun could also be a B&T VP9 or Station Six, a very close relative of the Welrod pistol. This would sort of explain the "jamming" and his seemingly calm reaction to it, since the gun is bolt action.
Exactly. You know what you get with alcohol and tobacco. We know that defense companies sell weapons. Insurance companies are supposed to help you in your hour of need and, 9 times out of 10, they take your money and then figure out every way to screw you. Absolute fucking scumbags.Agreed. Maybe the CEO would still be standing if he had heeded such a suggestion. United in particular appears to have done some really shady shit.Maybe people should have more value for human life but that's a pretty bold ask nowadays I guess.
That’s just what a real life assassin would want us to believe!Professional hitmen aren't a real thing, killing people for money is always a side-hustle at best.
It just feels kinda silly like going to a comedy club and getting mad at people laughing kinda deal.Yep. So?
Do you lick boots in your spare time?Yep. So?
My money is on a passion crime. Guy had a close relative or friend dicked over by the insurance company. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best one. I'm going through some stupid right now. Family member needs oral surgery. Insurance says they will cover the procedure but not the anesthesia. What I want to know is, who benefits from his death? I could see this being a crime of passion, but it could also be a “he knew too much” type of deal. I’m willing to accept it could be somewhere in the middle.
Welrods are not common handguns, and are usually chambered in .32ACP. CNN said 9mm casings were found at the scene.I'm pretty sure the B&T VP9 IS a Welrod. made for... Veterinary use (the "V" in "VP9").
Because B&T only makes a handfull of them, they're like $5k if you want one, for the novelty, or for its actual use of putting down animals.
I bet the pistol was a PSA Dagger or Polymer 80 with a homemade can, with no booster.
