Are you saying a president can just go "I pardon so-and-so for any crime they could have ever possibly have done" and it's theoretically legal?

Yes.

This comes from before America itself was a thing. Heads of State/Government or even nation states. It's the American version of what in Europe would be a Monarch giving someone a pass. The French King for example would pardon loads of small crimes every year as act of good will (stopping the hanging of some kid who stole bread for example).

The UK had a similar system as they inherited Anglo-Saxon law traditions and mixed up with French stuff during the Norman conquests, so when the Common Law of the UK was brought to the colonies such pardons came attached to the body of legal framework. When it turned into a Republic they replaced the King with the officer of POTUS.

These ancient roots are also why the USA has cash bail unlike so many other nations BTW, as those were invented around the 5th century AD in Britain.

You can understand the Hunter pardon but if Fauci and co are really pardoned I want to see Trump just pardon every single person on his side in power because the genie isn't going back into the lamp so you better use it when you have power because the next time the President has a D next to their name they are going to go hog wild with pardons and the media will back them up.

Fauci is one of the most evil people in the entire world at this point and he is making his way up the all time list and Schiff + Cheney are prolific liars who have put hundreds of people wrongfully in prison as well as lying under oath and editing testimony/statements from witnesses just to scratch the surface of their crimes.

Federal crime, yes. And then he would be immediately removed via impeachment of course but his pardon would still stand.
The logical extension of "neener neener you cant touch me!" Pardons is the next president pardoning the person who does in fact touch them. Anything done to Schiff in DC is pardonable by Trump.

Also pardons dont protect your money if they are fruit of your crimes from what i understand.

Who the fuck voted for Trump for unity? Trump got elected on a "fuck those people" platform. He fucking ran ads stating Dems were for they/them, Trump is for us.
You’re in an echo chamber if you genuinely believe that the majority of Trump voters want to see him engage in the same sort of political prosecutions that were levied against him. I would bet that a LOT of new Trump voters only pulled the lever because they were disgusted by the third world banana republic shit that the Biden DOJ was doing. They don’t want to see Trump turn around and do the same thing. I don’t remember which interview it was, maybe the Rogan one, but Trump even flat out stated that he’s not interested in political prosecutions because he knew what it was like to be on the receiving end.

Can you pardon an impeachment? How deep down the retard hole can we go?
Don't think so, here is the direct wording from the Constitution on presidential pardon powers.

Article II, Section 2, Clause 1:
The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.

Sadly then he is setting himself and Republicans to loose even more the next time Dems get in power since they will know that the Republicans will not do anything about getting screwed over.

It basic game theory of tit for tat is one of the few methods that ensures noncooperative behavior is punished.

I think most of them want it to stop happening. And the best way is to create bipartisan agreement it needs to stop. Easiest way to teach the lesson of an eye for an eye is to poke one of their eyes when you get the stick rather than just break the stick. Not break the stick immediately. That teaches an entirely different lesson. Of course im sure plenty of faggots would say put the stick down no need to break it.

In short i am sure plenty of the principled losers that have let the country rot thought they could vote their way out of it yet again this time. Trumps job is to teach them how to win.

No, dismantling the Deep State’s power systems is much more effective than going after the figureheads. Figureheads can be easily replaced. Systems take decades to build, and the Democrats are currently in a state where they really can’t effectively rebuild the Deep State if Trump really manages to hack at its roots. That’s what people voted for, not throwing some old fucks in prison, deservedly or not.

Proportional response is the only optimal strategy for repeated bouts of the prisoners dilemma. If you get punched, punch them back and only then offer to cooperate.

Mass use of poorly-monitored intubation killed a whole lotta people.
Not even just poorly monitored. They took people that could handle CPAP and took away their autonomous breathing by putting them on ventilators. That dulls their breathing drive as well as their hypoxic drive. So they would pull the vent and those people would die. I was there. Fuck all of those quacks, they should be publicly raped.

From The Hill's article (archive) about the UnitedHealthcare CEO's shooting:
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward and are offering a $10,000 reward.
People can't even get their insurance companies to cover this much sometimes, but NYPD think that's a decent bounty? Good luck.

Honestly? I think the most American thing you could do is beat a DoorDash driver who doesn’t match ass and report him to ICE. If this nigga wants take American jobs, he better start taking American fists. Maybe hit him with a stone cold stunner and scream “WOOOOOO” while suplexing his jeet ass into the afterlife.

This is a new one. I've never used Uber or UberEats so are you able to decline specific drivers based on their appearance? Seems like a discrimination / civil rights problem.
From what I understand you have no choice in who your driver is, but the apps will tell you "Jane Doe is delivering your food, here's her picture so you know who to look for" and then Jose is the one who actually shows up with your food because he bought Jane Doe's account to illegally doordash or Uber.

When the photo doesn't match the person, it's either a stolen car/phone, or identity theft.
Declining an apparent criminal, in the act of committing a crime, isn't discrimination.
