I think he's at least as narcissistic as Anisa. The dude admitted he didn't feel empathy before his pendulum swing towards being a progressive liberal. And before, the videos he was making didn't really call for him to be particularly genuine. A lot of his older videos are edited and ironic/zany. When you can selectively edit and play up everything as a joke, you can present yourself however you want.

Congratulations, you are more of a fighter than Anisa is. I would even go as far as to say if you've ever been in a street fight, you know more about fighting than Anisa does. His lack of enthusiasm now is definitely caused by living with Anisa, though some have claimed that it could be the result of continuously trying and failing to stop Anisa from saying stupid shit (both on live stream and in real life), which has led to it draining all his energy. I'd say he knows the path here was a mistake and is just stuck in a sunken cost situation. Probably just easier for him to try sticking through it than to abandon the effort he put into it.
