UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson fatally shot outside Hilton hotel in Midtown in targeted attack: cops - Just Part and Parcel of visiting a Big City

If the NYPD put it on their official tweeter account then I'm pretty sure they are 99.9% certain its the same guy. It could be from before/after the shooting or on a different day entirely.
that i have little to no doubt about.
the issue is obvious but them not addressing it will just lead to the apparent confusion around the picture and reaction of the public. even more so than there is already, hindering the investigation.

Oh yeah I'm not sure how many people know this but the playbook for insurance companies lately has been acquiring pharmacies (or was it the other way around? Either way it's evil) so that they can take over EVERY aspect of your healthcare and charge you whatever they want, from cradle to the grave.

Health insurance companies are evil and though this won't change anything it was a good deed.
The thing that I've been fucked over by is that whether or not the health insurance companies own pharmacies, they are in cahoots with the pharmaceutical companies. So any medicine that is new will have a super high artificial price and when you're on insurance they don't actually pay that amount or anywhere near it usually - it's bullshit and scammy accounting.

So when the insurance company is like "we're not covering this" you go "ok cool faggots i'll just pay it myself" and that's when you see the charges for like $300 for aspirin and all the other retarded shit.

It's a complete and utter scam from start to finish. There are of course some medications that are expensive because they cost a lot for research and development which is a bit understandable but for everything else they just inflate the prices massively and do a whole bunch of creative accounting to mask what is actually going on.

Oh yeah absolutely, big pharma is real and it needs to be dismantled yesterday.

What?

I get a free checkup and cleaning per year
Dentistry is also a giant scam in many cases.
There are thousands of extensive, researched and well documented stories in reputable newspapers and the like of dentists overcharging, suggesting totally unnecessary and expensive treatments. And nowadays there are also chain/franchise dentists where hedge funds/VCs have bought into them and there is a profit motive.

There was some story about a guy who bought a dental practice from some guy that was retiring. He bought it based on the income it was making. When he started seeing the patients (I think many of them were elderly) he realized the previous owner/dentist was doing hugely unnecessary treatments to thousands of his patients and ended up reporting him. I think the guy might've even had to have some jailtime over it.

It also seems like there isn't that much of an interest on preventative care in the first place - there are things that can be done to prevent caries early on but AFAIK they don't actually do that shit and instead prefer to charge people thousands of dollars for whatever procedure when they're a bit older.

His clothes don't match at all. Different style and color of hoodie. NYPD is not sending their best. Maybe on purpose? Does anyone know who does the health insurance for the NYPD union?
Is it really so hard to believe that they've spent the past 24 hours tracing this guy before/after the shooting across thousands of CCTV cameras and that he changed his clothing/appearance? I do not understand how people have such a hard time fathoming that someone would do that if their aim was to shoot a CEO in broad daylight in the middle of NYC.

okay, how is that the same person? unless it's from a different day because neither the jacket nor the backpack are the same unless they brought a backpack for their backpack with them to the hit.
but even the posture and height in relations to objects seems off to my amateur eye.
he's smiling in NYC
clearly he's up to something

Gonna be really interesting to see what happens s if this dude gets caught. Jury nullification is a thing. Which basically boils down to the Texas defense: "some people need killing". Does this guy even get convicted if he's caught?
I’m sure there will be enough incentives offered to curate and entice a jury to convict. Probably with their names withheld for further fuckery.

I know he has to have changed clothing, but I don't believe the NYPD has a case against this dude just because of similar build. Unless they say they have a probably trail to connect this guy to the place the shooting happened I am assuming lies.

Also I am rooting for him so I am trying to cope.
