Oh yeah, I experienced this like a week ago. I was on my couch in the pitch black at like 3:30 am watching a movie and you can see out the front window to my front porch from the couch. I see movement and a dark silhouette moving around. I flew off the couch, threw open the front door and nearly tackled the poor Amazon guy who almost shit himself. I told him that Amazon should make them wear light up vests or something because one of them is end up getting shot if they keep doing shit like that.

This is a new one. I've never used Uber or UberEats so are you able to decline specific drivers based on their appearance? Seems like a discrimination / civil rights problem.

I have seen male Ubereats guys use female pictures in Taiwan too. You can't decline drivers based on their picture (but you can report them), I personally think they are trying to grind extra tips from simps than anything really illegal.

There is a name and photo of the driver delivering your food and a license plate number for uber. If any of the details don't match you can report that, which the company encourages.

A lot of the time the female is driving and her boyfriend/husband goes to the door for safety reasons. Also common is it's an illegal skirting of the documentation requirements.

One of the reasons why I didn't use these apps.
Don't want these scummy migrants anywhere near my food, house or hood.

So our doorbell rang at 4am, turns out that Amazon now has 24 hour delivery service using Über drivers. You've been warned.

Didn't know they went through Uber. But yeah I've gotten several packages delivered directly by Amazon. They drop it off, take a photo, pound on the door and flee like underpaid ninjas. Our theory was that Amazon had opened a distribution center in our region (or will, soon).

I see people are angry at third party delivery companies, so I have reason to rant again.

Do not order from Best Buy. They've outsourced all their delivery to a third party company called Roadie. Here's their BBB score of 1/5. READ THE REVIEWS.
They have absolutely no way of contacting them and somehow less security than Uber. I ordered a laptop a while back and saw that the driver cancelled the order after picking it up. He's got a free laptop now and my blood pressure is spiking remembering the nightmare of dealing with four different Pajeet best buy reps because no one ever picked up with Roadie, who would hang up on me after about thirty minutes of waiting every time. I'll take my top hats because this shit genuinely makes my blood boil and getting recourse was nearly impossible.

How this company stays in business is beyond me.
