I can't say much about the anime because I started with the visual novel, but that cringe-worthy fan-service element does exist there. The novel itself focuses on a lot on mystery, suspense and drama. The problem is there are people who actively look for stuff like that, make it the focus instead of the storytelling, and turn it into some retarded identity.

More so, A lot of lolicon people are very cliques-ish types who think their porn fetish gatekeeps "normies", and that makes them "based." If anything, it's a way to normalize their strange obsession with something so friviolous. A lot of popular anime and manga that have loli characters, and don't primarily focus around sexualizing them attracts this kinda stuff too.

Wasn't there a guy who literally defeated a group of mercenaries with his lust for underage girls somewhere in the endgame? And his final state was "the ultimate professor of the beauty of underage maids" or something. It's funny because Umineko, his later work, cuts the loli stuff out except to literally weaponize childhood innocence into a crazy character who, on a night on the town, brutally murders people just to resurrect them, then kill them again. Even the main villain is like "sis, slow down."

Violent acts are, well, acts, and thus need to happen for there to be a correlation. Somebody might look at some of the most violent shit imaginable for fun, but, past being a weirdo with probably a few screws loose, if that person doesn't commit violent acts in higher rates than normal, you can't really say that there's a correlation between the two. Sexual attraction towards something is different, because watching the pornographic content and experiencing sexual arousal due to it are correlated, like how a man who is sexually attracted to drawn busty women is naturally also attracted to IRL busty women.

There's also various examples of lolicons who are actual pedophiles, like rikafag, who was convicted for having and producing child pornography, or Mark Mann, who had a /hebe/ board whose whole purpouse was so that child erotica (and pornography) were posted.

Unironically yes. Violent urges are different than sexual ones. A person can go their whole lives without killing someone. Sexual gratification... I would call someone a liar if they said they never jerked it once in there lives. That includes the media consumed. You can play CoD for 6 hours, then go on a peaceful walk like nothing happened. Sexual media hits different. It rewires your dopamine receceptors. Hard.

So yes, the dopamine hit of jacking off to something will create far stronger mental associations than getting a killstreak in Call of Duty. Furthermore, stimuli demand more stimuli. The positive experience you get in a first person shooter makes you want to... play more first person shooters. The dopamine hit you get from jacking off to some specific kink or subject will naturally make you want more of that. But with porn and kinks in particular it's very easy to go down the slippery slope of requiring more extreme or taboo content (upping the dosage, if you will) in order to get the same level of satisfaction. So while in CoD you can just get bored and move on, with sexual content you'll be going harder and harder on the degeneracy.

Two: lolicon would be less of an issue if it were "only just drawings". But much of that content uses real children as reference material. Either outright CSAM, or safe for work images of children that then get referenced as source material for porn. There's for example dorontai, one of the lead artists of Blue Archive, and who was discovered to use jap child erotica (as pornography is illegal in SK) for his models. The guy basically disappeared after that and not much is known about where he is or what he is doing now
