Unless you're from a genetic lineage where there was little to no consumption of animal products (like some branches of Hinduism, for example) chances are good that you are not going to do well on an entirely plant based diet, because humans evolved to be omnivores, and we need to eat many different foods to fulfill our nutrient requirements.

I wonder if the types of plants typically the most available also play into this. Not all veggies and fruits are created equal and a lot of the most available to the western diet are supplemental more so than a main thing. Meat will give you protein and fats even if it is low quality meat.

Pooners are frustrating. I get wanting to have what males have, but to actually be a male, would put expectations on you that go beyond male privilege. Males are expected to be tall and have deep voices. These women end up passing as male- but as the lowest common denominator of male, the type of male that no actual man wants to be. And they end up presenting stereotypes about manhood that are cartoonish- the dudebro behavior, the shirtless photos, the rage at everybody. I guess it’s the only stereotypes they know about men (even tomboys think masculinity is this) but it makes them look ridiculous.

I skimmed through this retard's Wikipedia page quickly, and it did no favour for my hatred of pooners and conception of them as some of the most mentally ill people in existence.

Imagine getting 'gender euphoria' from dying of AIDS:

It must suck being a rat and having a pooner as your owner. Plus, with all of that "jewelry" you have to be careful as many rats will try and "groom" their owners as a friendly gesture and try and be "helpful" by removing bits of metal that have gotten stuck in you as one of my cousins found out the hard way when she was holding one of my rats at the time and he pulled out one of her earrings.

Yeah, they're demons for jewellery, even necklaces. I stopped wearing those when my favourite pendant was irreparably gouged by little teeth. They'll also remove bandaids, trim your fingernails and hangnails, inspect your ear canals, eat your watch band and try very hard to crawl into your mouth so that they can clean that too. Honestly, even just wearing little studs in your ear lobes is begging for bloodshed. The more an object smells like their favourite person, the more domestic rats will want to play with it... and play means "destroy". A piercing is a double jackpot for a rat. It counts as both grooming and a play object.

My gastroenterologist might keep me from having gender affirming care

I am a 21 year old trans man with Crohn's disease. I was diagnosed over a decade ago, and have been receiving treatment just as long.
My initial consultation with my top surgeon was in January of this year, and she wanted to get medical clearance from my gastroenterologist due to possible healing complications with an autoimmune disorder. I got the medical clearance, all good.
It took 9 months of fighting with insurance before they approved it. Took another month to schedule, and the date is set for January 27. I had a check up appointment 2 weeks ago with the surgeon where she reevaluated me, went over some pre-op concerns. She let me know it's been long enough that I need another letter of medical clearance.
I am now seeing a new gastro (my old one was in pediatrics). I have had a colonoscopy, stool study, bloodwork, and CT scan since starting with her. When I asked about a letter of medical clearance, she said she's going to wait until after my CT results come back.
Today on my lunch break at work I got a call from this gastro’e nurse, letting me know the results of my CT: I have a lot of inflammation of my terminal ileum (not changed) and my bowels are dilated. I am on budesonide for the time being. This is not my first rodeo with steroids. More like my dozenth rodeo.
Here's the kicker! My gastroenterologist is now refusing to medically clear me for top surgery, because it's "elective"! I basically broke down crying on the phone with the nurse, explaining that I've waited my whole life for this, I've fought with insurance, I've fundraised over $4k, I've scheduled 2 months of medical LOA at work and been approved for short term disability, and I don't think I can wait any longer to have this surgery. The nurse was very kind and set me up an urgent appointment with my gastro to discuss my concerns in person. I told my mom everything and she's going to come to the appointment with me as support and as an advocate.
I'm having a mental breakdown. I don't think I can live without this surgery much longer. It's been the only thing I've been able to look forward to, with all my health concerns, for a year. I've put in overtime at my job for months saving for it. I've pushed myself to the brink of exhaustion. I've had Crohn's longer than I can remember, and it's only going to get worse. I'm sick of doctors saying that THIS round of steroids will help, THIS treatment will help. This may be the only time I can get gender affirming care and I'm terrified it's going to be ripped away from me.

Sounds very mentally stable and fit for an irreversible surgery!

Also, she talks about her cat pissing all over the apartment. A lot. Now I'm no cat expert, but that doesn't sound like a very normal situation. According to other posts, she took the cat to the vet and was cleared for any renal issues, so it's purely psychological. And yet she talks about it like a minor inconvenience rather than something that would be very alarming to the average cat owner. If anyone here is a cat expert, feel free to explain what kind of horrors the cat must be going through to even get to this point. How the hell does a cat have this much anxiety unless it's been repeatedly abused?

But don't worry, her very manly hobbies and interests aren't limited to literature, gardening, and brewing coffee.
