Down with the tyrants, glory to the people who fought for freedom!

Putin really sacrificed two of his allies (Armenia and Syria) to Turkish backed forces because he wanted to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of soldiers for a couple oblasts in Ukraine.
Back in March 2016, President Vladimir Putin reported that the first six months of the military operation in Syria had cost the Russian budget 33 billion rubles ($444 million (an average of $2 million per day).
If we include the five main parameters (combat air sorties, the launching of Kalibr cruise missiles, losses of military equipment, maintenance of personnel, payments to families of the dead), as well as the Syrian campaign of the aircraft carrier cruiser Admiral Kuznetsov, then, according to Yabloko analysts, as of early March 2018 budget spending on the Syrian campaign amounted to $3.2 billion.

The buffer zone that Israel reoccupied:
IDF deployment in the buffer zone on the Syrian-Israeli border:
Since May 31, 1974, Israel and Syria have maintained a separation of forces agreement signed at the end of the Yom Kippur War, which broke out on October 6, 1973. The agreement, supervised by the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force - UNDOF - (an armed force established on the basis of Resolution 350 of the UN Security Council), is designed to maintain peace on the border, and defines a buffer zone that should be a demilitarized zone, without presence Military, with the exception of the UN forces that serve as international observers. The buffer zone is between the Alpha Line (the border line between the countries) and the Bravo Line.
During the civil war of the previous decade, the agreement was periodically challenged. Today, in light of the collapse of the Syrian regime and the takeover of the rebels, it is strongly challenged once again. In light of the events, the IDF deployed in the buffer zone to guard and protect the Israeli border.

Well then.

" This is the footage of the statue of Hafez al-Assad being torn down in Latakia. This is done by locals, not by rebel units.
You may have heard about Latakia as one of Assad's strongholds. This may have been true before, but in recent years, people here have become increasingly anti-Assad. This is primarily due to the dire economic situation. In addition, many young people from this province fought in the SAA and died in the war. "

Latakia as you might know is one of the largest bases Russia has in Syria.

Additionally there are reports of Israeli tanks storming Al Quneitra in the Golan heights:

They claim it's a "chemical" weapons factory they are storming.

EDIT: So far there have been no activities reported from the Alawite militias.

1. It never ceases to surprise me how incompetent the Arabs are. I had some hope with the Taliban being able to re-take Afghanistan that Globohomo was weak and incompetent enough that their gayops and cash funded "rebels" would be defeated by determined nation states. Much like the Arabs in their earlier wars against Israel, it seems nothing changed at all regarding them or the Afghans from the 20th century.

2. Much in the same vein, it would be nice to see the multipolar alliance pose some sort of anti-NATO bloc that could challenge Globohomo on the world stage, but it seems Russia is just as incompetent and retarded as well. Russia has the capability to big dog the West in their client states and backyards but choose not to. I can only speculate that they're saving all their good weapons for any land invasion of Russia, and offering token support not only to their allies but even their armed forces in Ukraine out of fear that the West may capture or study them and reverse engineer it against Russia.

It's disappointing that Washington/Israel seem to be just as strong now as they were at the turn of the century, not because of their competence as a force, which is in decline, but due to the utter incompetence of their rivals. The empire will remain legitimized and any change to the system for the betterment of the people living under its shadow difficult.

Sad day.

Amit Segal wonders whether Putin gave Assad the Prigozhin treatment:
Who could have shot down the plane?

Israel? Hard to believe.

The rebels? Where would they have the ability from?

The Russians? They have the SAM batteries. As Sherlock Holmes said, when all possibilities are ruled out, the last possibility left is the answer, however improbable it may seem.

See that’s the main thing to remember when discussing the American empire-it may be declining, but its enemies are even weaker.

The US is wealthy enough, safe enough and has enough hard and soft power to continue basically being world hegemon for another century at least. The country may be rotted out, with pajeets and niggers, and Jews looting everything the White man built, but great behemoths don’t die easily. And the US is the largest behemoth in world history.

Russia, China, Iran, etc… none of them are possessed of either the resources or human capital to present anything more than a regional challenge to the United States.

TLDR: the US is declining but America’s enemies are declining even faster.
