You could see it live in the Syria thread where nobody but them brought up Ukraine, and people were at best cautiously optimistic regarding HTS' future, but every post of their was "NAFO troons" this, "Ukraine" that, "worshipping al qaeda" the other.
It's really obvious when they're doing it in a thread that has only 20 pages and is a few days old, where people do remember every single thing that was said in it, so there is not a shred of doubt, no possibility of misunderstanding.

From everything I have heard about Syria in the past few hours it sounds like the Russians have lost their naval port in Syria. It was Crimea of the Syrian port. Can't have it all.

Tartus surely seems better given how Turkiye can deny the Dardanelles access at will by International Treaty and the allied Latakia air field eased access to ally Iran and clients in Africa. The Black Sea Fleet has mostly retreated to Russian Black Sea ports with limited facilities. Yet Putin seems to be 95% concentrating on Ukraine, seeking to maximise gains by Trump's inauguration. Russia really is a pitiable power compared to the Soviet and Imperial eras. I hope Trump sees how Russian power is a gaudy charade and not try to enforce that worthless Kellog plan.

Ziggers are having a meltdown because Syria is falling.

Syria falling is indeed a sign that Russia's resources are being stretched to the limit.

I think this would be a great time to topple the Venezuela regime for the same reason. The strings to Russia's puppets have been severed.

At this point, it has been empirically proven that Russia really is that weak; Syria is one of Russia's more dependable allies. And now it's fallen. All those Ziggers trying to justify that Russia is holding back or has yet to reveal its true strength, all of that is just hot gas and coping. But now, it's clear as day, Russia can't even support one of its real friends, which bodes ill for Belarus and Iran.

The Nork gooners were funny-we can make jokes about them choking the chicken to porn all day. Syria falling is scary, especially for the Russian side. Assad is gone. He has fled his country. His protector, Russia, Russia, Russia, led by Vladimir Putin, was not interested in protecting him any longer. There was no reason for Russia to be there in the first place. They lost all interest in Syria because of Ukraine, where close to 600,000 Russian soldiers lay wounded or dead, in a war that should never have started, and could go on forever. Russia and Iran are in a weakened state right now, one because of Ukraine and a bad economy, the other because of Israel and its fighting success. Likewise, Zelenskyy and Ukraine would like to make a deal and stop the madness. They have ridiculously lost 400,000 soldiers, and many more civilians. There should be an immediate ceasefire and negotiations should begin. Too many lives are being so needlessly wasted, too many families destroyed, and if it keeps going, it can turn into something much bigger, and far worse. I know Vladimir well. This is his time to act. China can help. The World is waiting!

I am legitimately unsure what to make of something this delusional. Weird attempt at cope by claiming what's going on in Syria is Ukraine's doing, I suppose.

It's vatnigger cope because there are stories that Ukraine special forces are screwing around in Syria. I don't know if it's true or not. But I do find it odd that a country that is supposedly being defeated badly and running out of men for the war are sending their most elite special forces soldiers off to another country to get involved in something that doesn't impact the war in their homeland in a huge way.

Like how they mounted a bunch of ASW rockets onto MTLB's and were using them as MLRS systems. The Russians must be running out of BM-21's and their other MLRS systems pretty quickly. With the way that thing is rocking I doubt it's very accurate. Those rockets must be going all over the place.
