I don't think anyone is saying Sam and co should have been nice to them. I think they believe production should have strung them along for content instead of, as they see it, politisperging and booting them right away.

BUT we now know in retrospect that none of that is actually true, making this entire discussion pointless.

Apart from Brandon himself, production did NOT kick all the Famous House 2.0 people because of the Brandon stuff. They kicked them because of the ambiguous house-related issue which forced them to end Act 3 early and begin the RV arc.

So please, everyone, put this back-and-forth to rest already because its predicated on falsities. Sam and co weren't pleased with the Brandon shit but once he was off the show every sign from production indicated they were over it and wanted the fans to get over it too. What happened after had very little to do with Sam's open contempt for any of the second batch of fish.

Hell, this should be obvious after watching Sam interact with Burt for 2 weeks on the roadtrip. Almost every molecule of Burt is designed to repulse Sam, and yet they got along just fine and Sam even seemed to like him somewhat. The idea that he can tolerate Burt till the end but couldn't tolerate a bunch of normies with bad opinions is pretty silly.

While KF was down I wrote a small tool to fetch notifications from the fishtank site so they can be forwarded to Sneedchat because they disappear too quickly and ppv doesn't show them at all. I later modified it to also collect some statistics. It didn't run continuously so there are some jumps in the data. Now that the season is over here's a bit of data on the final week.

This is total viewers on the site watching any stream (including cameras that aren't even online anymore), not the "online" number of users in chat and not including the YouTube stream. Here's the director cam for comparison:

Amount of users active in chat: 12148
Of those 6194 did not have a pass the last time they wrote in chat and 150 have an XL Pass (I think, the data just says is_epic, which I guess means XL pass)

Keep in mind that passes can be gifted, and token prices depend on how many are bought at a time, so these numbers can't really be converted to real money. Also I'm a retard so who knows if my code even works.

Here is the problem with that, he's not a Celebrity to those fish.
