I think people being harassed off of the internet for liking fictional violent things could potentially bite anyone in the ass eventually. We dodged a bullet with the likes of Jack Thompson and 90s republicans trying to equate fictional violence to real world violence, but that exact logic is now applied to disgusting things like fictional incest.
Is it possible that supporting people being harassed off of the internet just for liking something in fiction might "normalize" said harassment and have relevant consequences for you and your interests, including this forum we're bickering on? Like people being normalized to a site like KF being wrongfully taken down, for instance, and trying to make that a reality?
And in fairness to you and others, I don't think you all are necessarily offended by the game so much as angry at an oversimplification of 0.0001% of it, and its perceived fanbase while ignoring the silent majority and the double standards at play.
