Yeah I'm not buying a lot of his 160IQ LARPing. I think he's trying to excuse away some of his more embarrassing behaviour now that he's back on social media and he's seen what people are saying about him. Name one weird thing Burt did consistently and he either has or will tweet about it saying it was "played up" or "exaggerated".

Given that he's run his test-taking grift under multiple fake personas, he probably fancies himself a very shrewd liar.

Regardless of whether you believe he was acting, a proper schizo, or somewhere in between, I think we can agree that Burt is one most committed and audience aware fish yet. Given how suspicious everyone got once we saw Burt up close, I imagine once more hand cam footage this will be cleared up a bit more.

I'm not in the alexbcord so I can't confirm, but he is planning to speak with Jon at 8pm CST.

I believe Burt when he says the amnesia thing was faked and I believe he did play up his autism for the show (This became far more obvious near the end when he started cracking and smiling) the rest seems like bullshit.

I wonder if he'd be able to act out the other mental illnesses in the disability challenge. Sam wasted Burt's acting potential by saying he had to act retarded.

this
dude schizo babbled to himself for like an hour about telekinesis and playing a serial killer in a movie, before he ever knew the cameras were live
you can't convince me this was just a bit

honestly I feel like he toned down some of his schizo tendencies after he found out we were watching

To be fair, previous seasons have had this issue without vote based eliminations. Josie won season one, TJ won season two. Shinji was a finalist in season two despite not being a content machine. I think that's less of a "voting" issue and more of a "production targeting the most entertaining fish and pushing them off the show in the process" issue. Iirc, Payton was one of the main targets among the Fish before the fishtank reveal because of her lack of caring. That's actually why Ian was eliminated.
So really production should show restraint with their star-fish because its rare to get a Burt who can just truck through all season without burning out. They should distribute the punishment and engagement more evenly among the fish, give every person a chance to produce content or nontent. Some fish will just be making content on their own and usually this excites production because they find them entertaining as well. They go too hard on them chasing the content and sometimes the fish walks. They ought to leave the content engines to their own devices a little more and focus in on the loafers.

Burt has vowed to turn his life around. He is giving up sex work and plans on getting his implants removed. He says his time on the show has made him aware of his personality faults, and he intends to work on them. He is currently in the process of setting up an appointment with his psychiatrist.

Sam Hyde has saved another life.
I'm sure the guy that changes his personality more than his underwear will hold true to these promises.

Yes basically. The current method is they spend the majority of their time targeting the fish who make content innately. This is illogical because they need the least amount of push required to make content. You could give Alex or Burt the smallest nudge and they would role with it and make it into their own thing with little to no effort.

They should probably refocus their efforts on fish who aren't content machines so that way the pressure is taken off the main ones and the less entertaining fish are made more entertaining. The beginning of this season showed they kind of learned their lesson in this regard. They gave payton the task to steal the diary, gave mizzy the red pill, Alexis and Simbal were made president elects. These people were less interesting fish, so they were given more attention and opportunities to be entertaining. But Production gave up on those things the moment famous house 1.0 ended.

It's actually really interesting with how safe Production was playing it at first. They made it seem like they learned from their past season mistakes. Remember how on election night the on sight message said it was like day 20 pace and they wanted to slow things down? Then by day 13 they were in the cell and day 18 they were doing icky pukers. They understood where they went wrong in the past, but they just couldn't help themselves and fell back into their old habits.

StickerMule posted an article about their collaboration with Fishtank. ( Archived )

How Fishtank merch generated $40k in sales in 2 weeks

The Internet’s most addictive social experiment turned its hype into profit—and you can too.

When Season 3 of Fishtank launched, the Internet was ready for another six weeks of chaos, laughter, and immersion in one of the most unconventional reality shows ever created. But what really made waves this season wasn’t just the action in the house—it was how Fishtank turned fan obsession into serious cash, all while growing its brand.

The secret? A partnership with Sticker Mule that required almost no effort from Fishtank but delivered huge results: a custom merch store that sold like crazy and built the brand’s cult status even further.

Here’s how Fishtank pulled it off—and how you can, too.

Turning fans into customers—effortlessly

Fishtank Live isn’t your average show. It’s a 24/7 livestream where fans don’t just watch—they shape the action. Through AI-powered text-to-speech messages, playful pranks, and contestant “Fishtoy” gifts, fans are active participants. This level of engagement created a golden opportunity to monetize the fanbase with merch.

That’s where Sticker Mule came in. By launching a dedicated Fishtank Merch Store, powered entirely by Sticker Mule, Fishtank unlocked a new revenue stream without lifting a finger. The store featured custom stickers, posters, and other designs that perfectly captured the humor and energy of the show.

The result? Fans went wild.

In just two weeks, the Fishtank Merch Store hit over $40,000 in sales, allowing the brand to earn over $11,000 in profit during that period. At one point orders flooded in so fast that Fishtank had to disable email notifications just to keep their inbox under control.

What made it work?

A Built-In Audience

Fishtank fans were already highly engaged, making them the perfect market for exclusive merch. The store didn’t need a hard sell—fans were eager to support their favorite contestants and own a piece of the show.

Seamless Integration

The Sticker Mule team worked closely with Fishtank to create designs that were authentic to the show. From contestants wearing Sticker Mule shirts to custom stickers scattered around the house, the brand became part of the Fishtank experience.

Zero Operational Headache

Sticker Mule’s print-on-demand model handled everything: production, shipping, and customer service. Fishtank reaped the rewards without having to manage the logistics.

How Sticker Mule boosted the brand and sales

The collaboration wasn’t just about selling merch—it was about making Fishtank even bigger. Fishtank fans aren't just viewers, they're participants, influencers, and superfans. Similarly, Sticker Mule wasn't just a sponsor, we were active participants in the experience.

Herman the Mule’s Cameo

Sticker Mule’s mascot, Herman, made a surprise appearance, instantly becoming a fan-favorite moment.

In-House Challenges

Sticker Mule sent its team (and iconic orange-wrapped Cybertruck) to host a self-defense class for contestants, adding even more entertainment value.

Constant Visibility

The dedicated merch link StickerMule.com/fishtank was featured throughout the show in a seamless and natural way. Viewers purchased products not because they were pushed onto

The takeaway: you can do this too

What happened with Fishtank is proof that you don’t need to be a massive brand to monetize effectively. By leveraging Sticker Mule Stores, creators and brands can turn their audience into paying customers without dealing with the hassle of inventory, shipping, or production.

Here's what our CEO, Anthony Constantino had to say: “Our goal with Sticker Mule Stores has always been to help creators connect with their audiences through merch. Seeing the Fishtank store take off shows just how powerful that connection can be. When fans love what you’re doing, the sales follow naturally.”

Ready to cash in?

Whether you’re a creator, streamer, or entrepreneur, the formula is simple: build something your fans love, and Sticker Mule will handle the rest. Start your store today, just like Fishtank did, and see how easy it is to turn fan passion into profit.

As for Fishtank? Season 3's chaos might end on December 8, but the merch (and the money) isn’t going anywhere. Shop the collection at StickerMule.com/fishtank and grab a piece of internet history. If you’ve been waiting to turn your brand into a cult favorite, this is your sign. Sticker Mule makes it effortless—and the results speak for themselves.
