The Putinbots will be working overtime

Is this the right thread to ask for gossip about the current Swift-likes, namely Chapel Roan or whatever? Another kiwi mentioned she had a huge back catalog and no fans, swapped out "him" for "her" in the love songs and got a huge fanbase. I thought that was funny and would like to hear more about that.
The key change from C major to D major is brilliant. I don't know if I've ever heard a piece of music jump to its relative key's relative key before.
A relative key is a minor/major key sharing the same notes as a major/minor key with a different root note; the relative key of C major is A minor (and its relative key is... C major).

A parallel key is a different key centered on the same root note (C major and C minor for example).

I assume what you meant was "the dominant's dominant key", but that's a needlessly convoluted way of saying it modulates a whole step (sidenote: both the major II, and in the other direction the major VII, are common borrowed chords).

I don't know any off-hand, but I'd be very surprised if you've listened to radio pop before and never heard a whole step modulation.

Furthermore, this is the type of song that I think could be a national anthem,
Oh.

I don't really listen to radio pop, just classic rock and classical music. I've never heard or played a classical piece using whole step modulations, and classic rock doesn't really have melody, so you can understand why I was impressed by it.

I swear, this bitch must be part of some global scam. In all my years I have never seen someone so mediocre being pushed so relentlessly in every corner of media everywhere.
Her fame is as bizzare to me as the dawn of AI.
The (((music industry))) has been compromised since at least the 1960s, if not earlier. Taylor Swift is the latest iteration of their psychological operations. The cohort that buys into Taylor Swift's personality/brand the most is normie white women, who just so happen to be the same useful idiots that are used time and time again for political purposes.
Dumb whore probably gets spit-roasted by the whole team, after every Chiefs win.

Taylor Swift was chosen as a target for shit-tier deepfakes precisely because it serves as ragebait for this demographic I described above.

Who cares? That's not stopping you from listening to some Bach.

Taylor Swift is too milquetoast to be a psyop for anything. What is she doing? Broadcasting subliminal messages so that our minds will be weakened enough that the Space Jews will be able to remove our souls from our bodies and put them inside psychic containment fields inside the frozen mantle of the planet of death, Pluto?

Maybe normie women like Taylor Swift because, despite being milquetoast, she's sincere and wholesome, which most other pop musicians aren't?

No, she was chosen as a target for deepfakes because she's a conventionally-attractive blonde white woman who's not a sex symbol and is not only unmarried, but also isn't afraid to make any man who hurts her into her next hit single. This enrages Indian men, mystery meat Amerimutts, Saudis, Africans, and other brownoids who have statistically higher rates of porn addiction and violence against women than white men.

I found another piece of Swift-like gossip:

It turns out pop star Sabrina Carpenter is responsible for the Eric Adams probe that led to his indictment:

Her sexy music video shot in a Brooklyn catholic church last year got an angry Brooklyn diocese to investigate the pastor who gave the permission, which turned up the pastor's shady dealings with Frank Carone, who was Adams' chief of staff and re-election campaign manager. This got the feds to start looking into Carone, which led to the wider Adams probe. The feds had subpoenaed the church before indicting Adams.

Been hearing a lot less about Swift in recent weeks. Toss me all the rainbows but feels like we’ve peaked sometime this summer.

The last thing I known she was treated like royalty in the streets of Toronto. Enough that cars were cleared off that same road. Funny how these NPC's spent tickets for that one shitty concert only with the sum of the money costing more than a Depeche Mode concert, The Cult concert and Bruce Springsteen concert combined while saving on plane tickets because unlike Taylor Swift. They go to more rural areas while Taylor Swift thinks a city like Winnipeg, Calgary or Edmonton is like "ewwwww, too fucking poor". Taylor swift has extremely few memorable songs whilst Depeche Mode and Bruce Springsteen has albums where the entire album (every song) is better than a Taylor Swift song. Oh, and to meet Taylor Swift. That's like 200 gold maple leafs or a thousand mangled limbs in total cost. The Bellwether Syndicate, Patriarchy and Clan of Xymox charged me absolutely nothing to take pictures with them.

Yeah. I'm getting way too spergy here.

she won so hard. im shocked there wasn't an announcement of something at the end to be honest
Will this self-fellating harpy just release the last two of the rerecordings and go the fuck away for about 10 years? If she was making alternative indie folk like she was doing during the pandemic and was at that popularity I wouldn't mind. I'm surprised that she hasn't come out and pulled a John Lennon and says she was bigger than Jesus or the second coming reincarnated.

At the very least, her reign as the undisputed Queen of White Girl Pop is over. Charli XCX and Chappell Roan managed to capture a decent chunk of Taylor's fanbase over summer by making music with greater lasting appeal and cultural relevance. The hype train will fire up again for Taylor's next album, but the days of Peak Swiftie are numbered, especially if the record she comes out with is another slab of indistinct dreck a la Midnights or TTPD.

That’s funny. I thought the whole things about the Eras Tour was all about how Taylor was the one true queen and long may she reign. That’s the takeaway I got from the press coverage at least.

Chappell Roan
Isn't she an abusive BPD spicy straight that trannies love because of said abusiveness?

I hope she doesn't fade into irrelevance. She's too important, and she needs to build up more soft power so she can help solve the world's problems. She could stop Hamas and Putin if she set her mind to it. Also she makes bad people angry, so her remaining on top will cause critical seethe that could get some good anti-porn laws in effect.
