Picture of the gun they released is a Patmos Arms upper which is the cheapest slide/parts kit you can get on ebay. Frame was either a 3D printable g26 or g19 designed by chairmanwon. Neither of which would be a very smart person's first pick for committing a crime they're serious about IMO. Suppressor which I haven't seen a picture of was most likely also 3D printed and the reason he had to manually cycle the gun is because to my knowledge there are no 3d printable suppressors that allow you to use a booster which would be required to cycle correctly when using a tilting barrel like the glock.

He only got the surgery in January or some time around then which was shortly before he went off the deep end and disappeared and cut off social contacts with his family/friends.

I believe all the anecdotes about him being in extreme pain were before he had the surgery, it is unclear what the pain level/mobility were like post-surgery except that his tweeter account name was updated in January and inferred that he was "nuts" because his back had been broken.

So (I'm not a back surgeon) its plausible that it reduced his pain (or he was on painkillers) but fucked up his mental state.

For me it's not the violence (I don't fancy serial killers and shooters, I ain't crazy), but it's hard not to like this guy.
