It may happen, it may not, what I mean is people automatically going "good, nobody there deserves the money", when that's a pretty weird double standard to have by this point
The ironic point is that I don't think Burt cares about the 50k nearly as much as any of the people in the peanut gallery sperging about it in either direction. He's always maintained he is wealthy and doesn't need it, which is why he wanted to split it with everyone.

Says who?

Yeah, AFAIK one of the running jokes/jewry throughout the series has been that the contract very clearly stipulates they have leeway to choose not to pay anyone beyond the (presumably contractually stipulated) daily minimum wage or whatever. But also AFAIK, no fish past or present has ever detailed what exactly they got paid, just that they were paid or weren't, which seems like there's an NDA in place that prohibits discussion of dollar amounts for the prizes.

Has the contract ever been leaked for any season?

First thing this bitch does is post a selfie for her simps
Fucking vile creature

Some troon with a @ on twitter thats @PhoebeSissyGurl purchased a heap of shitty cosplay clothes off her simp wish list last night as well.
If anyone in the history had the opposite of redemption arc it was binx, she is just gonna get worse.

he's a degenerate coomer simping for a shameless egirl but I still find his gift choices very funny. BinxKnight has armed his woman for combat.
Anyone else think it's super weird that Binx's simps keep gifting her skimpy things that Link wore in BOTW, including the women's clothes Link was forced to cross dress into (fuck this game)? Binx simps aren't beating the into twinks, femboys, and troons allegations and I think there's something wrong with Binx's head for being so excited to pretend to be a gay twink. (AndroidRaptor much?!)

Binx's steam wishlist is full of gay and lesbian anime adult novels

I genuinely cannot understand the moralfagging I see on every platform Fishtank's on. You cannot possibly think Burt or anyone else in the cast deserves none of the money, when the prize money was properly given to TJ "Maybe I can take the horse while my daughter has fun with the doggy, getting rammed side by side" LubeCooch in Season 2. But no, give it all to Luke because he Roman salutes and says nigger on command, he's just like me for real for real (he's still a good guy, I just don't get this shit)
Guys, don't be exceptional, $50k Grand Prize is in their contracts, its not a singular unique item that can be lost, they have to pay it. It's a gas light.

After listening to Burt it's either one he's still perpetuating, or he's still being gas lit and it's going to get a big surprise in the mail
The Fish and Sam, during the Fish Tank reveal they said it was in their contract and some(but embarrassing for them, a small few) of the Fish had read it. IIRC Mizzy was one of the ones that read it and knew that was in their contract.

The first gas light was that the Grand Prize was only $5k. I figured out pretty early when they were asking a lot of the Fish if they read the contract, that I'm pretty sure that was a check. The contract probably gave more of the show away then they wanted, iirc Mizzy also knew there was some mentions in the contract that lead her to realize the show was live. The first week they were definitely trying to sus out who had read it, and I think saying the Grand Prize was only $5k was ito get people to speak out.
I'm pretty sure the contracts directly say the $50k is not guaranteed and can be withheld. I remember seeing this in the leaked contracts and I've heard the other fish talk about it a couple of times. It was even included in the s1 Willy Wonka gaslight ending, Sam showed that part of the contract to Josie and tricked her into thinking she wasn't getting any money.

I think the contracts are very carefully worded, and don't guarantee anyone will win the entire 50k grand prize. That's why nobody has sued them, in spite of all the threats. People take the contract to a lawyer and the lawyer tells them "LOL you're fucked". Pretty sure all they're contractually entitled to is the agreed-upon daily rate. Otherwise Sam would have put Brandon out of the house with nothing.

I wish we could see one of the contracts, but I'm sure there's a pretty strict NDA involved there, so I doubt we'll ever see one.

I found one but it's heavily redacted and paywalled. All I'm seeing is that there are no guaranteed prizes or compensation other than the grand prize, and that production can choose to withhold any prizes for any reason (and the way I'm reading this, or at least that it could be read, is that they're saying they're not guaranteeing there will be any prize other than the grand prize, not that they have to award the grand prize to anyone).

This is literally the opening paragraph:

To further persuade the Producer to consider me for participation in the Series, I am making the following representations, warranties, disclosures, covenants, and agreements. In the event that any of my disclosures, representations, or warranties are false or if I violate any covenant or agreement outlined in this Applicant Agreement With Arbitration Provisions ("Applicant Agreement") or any other agreement or release connected with the Series, the Producer reserves the right to remove me from the Series, withhold any prizes or earnings I would have received, and require that I return any prizes that have already been awarded to me. Additionally, the Producer and/or Network may provide any explanation or announcement, on-air or otherwise, that they see fit in their sole discretion.

One thing I found interesting is that this is (presumably, given the figures) the Season 2 contract, and it outlines a section about production having the choice of awarding a runner up a $10000 consolation prize, but I never heard anything about Shinji getting one (meaning they chose not to give him one, even though it was listed as a potential in the contract).

Was watching the newest Cucumberfeet montage of season 3 and the Mizzy being into Sam thing really is true. Look at her face being choked out by Sam she's loving it.

I have a lot of footage from when they were in the van in Vegas and she was taking creepshots of him, and it also had the video pointing at her, and she was LONGING. It was adorable. Good lord, Mizzy. She'd tease him too, and he was completely into it. I know a lot of you are like BUT IT'S UNPROFESSIONAL - let's face it, they're all production now. Get over it. Plus it makes a segment of the paypiggies suffah and I love it.

Mizzy's kitchen looks like a factory break room. The utilitarian press board cabinets with rod handles, concrete ceiling with exposed conduit, and the burtalist color scheme of grey, tan, and white. If she wasn't taking the picture in front of a mirror and there was not that guitar on top of the cabinet I would assume this was at her work.

The Mizzy-Burt interview part 1:
  • Not one smoke detector chirp from Burt's house. Bravo!
  • Mizzy tries to lead the interview along in more or less chronological order of the FT season. She's not a great interviewer but I've seen worse.
  • Burt says it feels weird now that there aren't cameras constantly on him, he has to get used to normal life again.
  • Burt claims he lowkey played into the weirdness because he felt that's what production wanted.
  • Burt watched and studied Alex B for how to be entertaining. He found it interesting that Alex B said nigga and didn't get in any real trouble for it.
  • "Memorable shock value entertainment is pretty much what the show is about." Spot on, Burt.
  • Burt has a Master's degree in "data science" but that didn't help him figure out the computer AI, and it fascinated him. He was confused how it could figure out he was attracted to Alex. :story: Once he learned it was the audience it all made sense. He thought it was some state of the art experimental AI at first. :story:
  • TTS was bullshit but Burt felt compelled to interact with it anyway.
  • Burt's family aren't social media people so they had no idea what he had been doing the whole time, he sent them Fishtank clips rather than try and explain the show.
  • Burt claims he was "fucking around" with his medication to make himself manic to be more entertaining. He wanted to mimic Alex B's energy, but in his own unique way. Burt claims his sleep deprivation was on purpose for this goal.
  • Mizzy thinks it's "really smart" for Burt to stop taking his meds to "induce a psychosis."
  • Burt would take his notebook into the bathroom where there was no camera to write down his "secret thoughts."
  • Talks about his theory that it was an undercover cop show, the weird ways Ted and Smaack left made him suspicious.
  • Mizzy thinks Sam almost kicked her off the show for sandbagging a bit in the yard where he had her punch the punching bag and she phoned it in.
  • They talk about Ted. Mizzy thought he was a bit odd during Famous House, after finding out he was a secret FT fan she rationalized his behavior as him trying to be entertaining for the audience.
  • Burt thinks that Ted being uncomfortable at Burt coming onto him was actually just Ted doing a bit for the audience. :story:
  • Burt's favorite fish of the original 12 was Alex.
  • Burt initially thought Alex and Connor's exit was a bit like Binx "leaving" the day before.
  • Burt's least favorite fish of the original 12 was Ian, because Ian was boring. When Ian came back and Burt tried to talk to him about the n word fiasco, Ian ignored him which got Burt mad for real.
  • "I was wondering, why is there such a male emphasis in this show?" :story: Talks about DUDE WIPES MANSCAPED MRBEAST CHOCOLATE.
  • Burt claims his confusion over the Brandon situation was everybody was talking at once and he couldn't figure out why they were mad at him because of that. Burt was upset because Brandon was the "only other queer guy in the house." Mizzy makes it clear that she now believes Brandon was in the wrong, like a good FT orbiter.
  • Burt seriously thought about leaving when Alex B left the house. At that point he was imagining him and Alex as the finalists and Alex leaving crushed him.
  • Burt also thought about leaving after he lost the cell. He was so amped up after the cell that he became delusional. After sleeping it off, he adjusted his "medication protocol" to ensure he didn't go fully insane.
  • When Burt learned that Luke had gotten more endorsements than him after the Brandon debacle, he changed his strategy to appease the audience more.
  • "When I saw the blue balls, something in me snapped." He thought Simbal collecting the blue balls meant he was a plant.
  • Mizzy was rooting for Burt to win the cell.
  • Burt didn't understand the RV stuff but once he saw Cowboy he decided to go along with it.
  • Burt thought the RV was either the show jumping the shark or some unplanned "make up shit as we go along" thing.
  • Burt did not expect Payton to leave and was not expecting Mizzy to return.
  • Burt calls Payton's hometown of Jasper, Texas, population 100,000, a "country town."
  • Burt thought him and Binx as the final two wasn't great because they're both neurodivergent and "the same age." :story:
  • Mizzy was in the hotel the day before she entered the RV just waiting for the word to come. She says production just asked her to come to Dallas out of the blue and she said sure. Mizzy didn't know Payton was going to leave until someone told her it had just happened.
  • Burt being stranded in the desert was a weird ending that he didn't expect. He was confused as fuck because of the $0 check and them just driving away.
  • It took 20 minutes for the wiggers to go back and pick Burt up. He stood there being cold and confused until Vance came by. He said to Vance "this is a non-sexual thing, can we cuddle so I can stay warm?" to which Vance "looked disgusted." Burt really doesn't like the cold apparently, despite living in New Jersey.
  • Burt wanted the finale to be all the contestants and freeloaders having a big dance party at the house.
And that's it for part 1.
